I brought the kids for a mini get away and they loved it

The hotel was well maintained and clean. The restaurants were excellent, with top notch food and service. The problems we had all had to do with the accommodations. I had reserved a room with a king sized bed. When we arrived, we were told that the only way we could have a king was to get a smoking room, or pay an additional $60 per night. Otherwise we would get two doubles. Since my husband is allergic to cigarette smoke, a smoking room was out of the question. We opted for two doubles. The room was not well lit and had no chair (see picture). The television stopped working in the middle of a program. Though we asked for the room to be cleaned, it was never cleaned once the entire time we were there, two nights. I had splurged on this stay in Atlantic City to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The pictures of the lovely pool and spas were so enticing. In spite of being charged an extra “resort fee”, we could not use the pool or spa without paying even more. We have stayed in much nicer hotels for a much lower price in the past. As a result, I would not recommend Caesars to anyone.
