"My stay here was part 2 of my birthday trip after going to the UP. I really wanted a north facing view of the water so we could catch the sunsets and sunrise, and this cute cozy camper did not disappoint. The remodeled interior made this feel less like a camper and more like a cabin, it was very spacious and accommodating. Waking up to the gorgeous water right in front of you was amazing. You can even see the tips of the Mackinaw Bridge just past the trees on the other side of the bay! Our last night there was super windy and we had a bit of a storm, but the camper didn't shake at all, which made us feel very safe. Before the storm got to us, we could see it slowly coming in from the west and watched the lightning from a distance. Even more surprising, the northern lights came out right above the storm clouds, it was incredible!The convenient location only 10 minutes from downtown Mackinaw is unbeatable, it was nice to go enjoy the shops and restaurants and have only a short drive back. It's also super close to Wilderness State Park and a dark sky preserve, but honestly the view of the sky from the camper was so good, we didn't feel the need to go to either of those spots. The bed was very cozy, and in case your partner snores like mine, it was nice to have the other bed areas to escape to, which were also very cozy! I was hesitant about staying in an RV because of the bathroom situation, but it honestly wasn't bad. Thank you for a great stay, I will be back!"

"We stayed in the smaller cabins that are right behind the newer larger looking ones that you can see from out front. They were definitely dated, but still not too bad. It could use some upgrading like tearing the old nasty carpet out and maybe installing hardwood floors, laminate floors, or something along that line. Beyond that everything else was fairly decent did not see any major bugs other than an occasional spider, but that’s to be expected seeing how you’re literally staying in a cabin. Overall, not a bad place to stay for the price."

"This was just the getaway we needed. Perfectly located to enjoy the surrounding parks, beaches and unique local attractions like Cross Village and the Tunnel of Trees. The cabin was super quiet and secluded but had everything we needed. My husband loved the sauna and we appreciated the large dining table in front of the picture window (chipmunk tv for our pup). We also enjoyed the wood stove and fire pit out back, plus the binoculars for bird watching and the nice assortment of games for rainy days. Bonus points for cleanliness and comfy, quality bedding and towels and functional kitchen for actually cooking. We will be back!"
