"We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future."

"I stayed here for 3 nights with my parents who are in their eighties. Everything is on one level so it was perfect for them. I was able to park close by which was a bonus as they have a wheelchair. It’s a beautiful place to stay if like us you just want to be able to have a holiday which is accessible. Lindisfarne is a stunning island to visit and although we didn’t go off road they thoroughly enjoyed their short break here. If you’re a walker you couldn’t pick a more perfect base."

"Lovely small house which was perfect for us , en suites were great , beds really comfortable , kitchen was fully equipped , comfy sofas and only 10 minutes walk to the beach . "This amazing house was ideal for 6 adults, a toddler and a dog. There was plenty of room for all of us and having the extra living room with TV meant we weren’t under each other’s feet all the time. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed. It’s a great place for exploring Bamburgh, Seahouses, Holy Island and further afield. We went to Berwick on Tweed and had a great, value for money, lunch at Limoncello, 3 course lunch for £6.95 would definitely recommend. The coffee shop next...
