"This place is just as advertised! Comfortable and well appointed. I enjoyed that there were all the appliances and utensils we needed, including a measuring cup! We also really appreciated the coffee and tea set up, including creamer, sugar and Splenda. It's so nice to be able to make coffee in the morning. We used the property to unwind after our wedding ceremony and we used it before the wedding ceremony as the boys house before the wedding. we picked up fallen branches and made a fire and the owner left us a smore kit that was had by all. "The location is very convenient and the entrance is in the rear of the house where the gardens, tranquility pond, pool, outdoor seating are beautiful! The space is accommodating and the hosts are exceptional and thoughtful to details. The snacks were gobbled up by all of us so thank you for those! "My family of 6 (4 kids between 5-13) chose this lodging for our first visit to Gettysburg. We found it was walkable, or a very short drive to the major museums and attractions. The decor inside was so thorough it rather reminded us of staying "in the park" at Disney, where the on-site hotels keep you feeling immersed in the experience. This place kept us in the 1860s vibes the whole stay. We would stay again!"

"My husband I enjoyed our stay at Linda’s home. It was perfect for what we needed, as we were in town for a family celebration in Westminster. "I traveled and stayed for the weekend with 6 adults. If you have kids, this would be fine as we stayed in a premiere cabin. The bunk bed were tight for us. The sleeper sofa was uncomfortable with the bar in your back and the main bed was ok. The place was clean and the shower had a good amount of hot water. The TV couldn’t get a signal to work. The place overall needs some TLC, but it was overall just ok. "
