The host was excellent answering any questions immediately. The place was immaculate and smelled very clean. Great location. I'm short so low ceiling was not an issue. Quick walk to grab good food. Can not say enough positive things. Loved this place! I would come back if in the area!
I stayed for a week while in town for work. Everything was very clean and the space was exactly what I needed. I believe I saw on another review about the gradual drop in the ceiling as you move from the kitchen into the living room so that is the only thing to watch out for. I’m 6’1 and managed it just fine. Would stay again!

It was quite clean. No 'staff' to deal with. Kitchen and bath area quite clean and adequate. I'm 6-foot, 0-inches tall. Shower stall had a direct, overhead 8" shower-head, maybe 6 foot, 4 inches high... would prefer a hand-held shower head, but that's just my personal preference. Otherwise, ceilings in Kitchen and Bath/Shower room areas were quite adequate and could stand straight with plenty of ceiling space.
Banged my head pretty well on the low ceiling portion in first 5 minutes of entering the apartment. Because of the low ceiling, ... whenever I was in the 'cozy studio' over the next 4 days -- mostly nights and mornings -- I spent my time, in the portion of the studio outside of the kitchen and bathroom, bent over : for one or two nights, that's not too bad; for 4 nights... I, personally, won't do it again.
Also, the one numbered parking spot in the parking lot assigned to the 'cozy studio' was 30 or 40 yards away at the far end of the parking lot and had to walk to an alley and a few feet past a dumpster to the lighted door for the studio. ... On the other side of the alley was an active church... which evened-out the apprehension the alley situation gave me... well-lighted but wouldn't recommend the location for my wife travelling alone. It was centrally located in downtown Hanover; so pretty close to most local amenities and entertainments.
Check-in and check-out were easy. Appreciated the good effort of the 'cozy studio' to offer a clean, non-motel room atmosphere
We were visiting York and needed a place to stay. This is about 1/2 hour out...and it was WONDERFUL. (1) The place was clean, (2) The space was perfect for my wife, myself and the dogs. The room was quiet. The shower was hot. Communication with the property owner/manager was wonderful. What a WONDERFUL stay. A I would not hesitate to go back.Things you should be aware of.. (1) They wrote that the ceiling is incredibly low...lol, and it actually is. I banged my head at one point. I am about 5'8 so be aware of that. The ceiling slopes down so it is taller on one end and shorter on the other. As long as you are conscious of that, there shouldn't be any problems...but if you are taller, you really need to be thoughtful. (2) The parking spot is almost opposite from where the room is, which is located near street with the arcade. It is in the church lot (I think #62). There is a tag for the church in the kitchen.
Getting there late in evening after a graduation was little difficult in finding where it was. And I wish they would have sed how steep steps were, very tired after long drive. Other it was clean, safe area.
The ceiling is low. If you are over 5’9”, you will hit your head. Very clean and well-appointed. Parking is best if there is only one car. It is quiet and comfortable.

This place was great. Ceiling is low, less that 6 feet in some spots. Location is great for visiting downtown Hanover. Parking was convenient.
Stayed overnight with a buddy. Brought an air mattress so we didn’t have to share a bed (couch would’ve been a little small for sleeping comfortably).
I recommend this property for anyone seeking a secure and convienent place to stay in Hanover. It is less expensive than a hotel with many convienences. There is a full kitchen which allowed us to make breakfast a few days as well as allowed my wife to prep our dog's meals for the week as he has all his meals cooked. It was close to the park and to downtown Hanover. We were traveling with our special needs Jackchi (collapsing trachea) and this was so close to Wirt Park for him to play. We had a washer and dryer which was great for washing clothes so we'd not have to take dirty ones home. The ceiling is a bit low in some places but if you are cautious, it isn't a problem. We had plenty of room to spread out and to relax on days we weren't visiting friends and family. The air conditioner isn't very powerful so on hot days that may be a concern but a small fan helps. My wife always travels with one (perimenopause) so we were fine. There are two doors to get into the apartment which made us feel very secure. The apartment was clean, spacious, convienent and very nice. This is our new place to stay when we come back home to visit. It is in the middle of all of our family and friends.

We did not stay after arriving and walking through the place. First, I'm 5'9", and half of the room I couldn't stand up straight in. My wife is 5'1" and could barely stand up straight. The place has an odor, it smelled old. It was over 90° outside when we arrived, and the air was off. It was so hot inside. The "tremendous" bathroom was FAR from tremendous. There was a sink, a toilet that was in the back corner and looked uncomfortable because it was closed on on the sides, and only a stand up shower, no bathtub. It did however have a washer and dryer in the bathroom, simply taking up more space. My wife likes to relax in a hot bath after a long day at work. We had to go to Hanover on a business trip, and were so disappointed, that we just left and drove back home to Maryland. We messaged the owner 4 days ago, and received no response at all. The closet for was broken and the shelving was Walmart fabric shelves. This place was worse than a $50 motel in Baltimore. The worst part of it all, was not even a sorry you didn't like it from the owner, nothing. We did a walk thru and left, for $150. Lesson learned.
Cozy and clean place, I love the rustic beams and brick walls. It provided everything we needed for the weekend - a bathroom and a place to sleep. The kitchen and bathroom were easy enough to move around in, but I'm 5' 8" and had to slightly duck my head to move around in the LR and through to the BR due to the low ceilings. We made it work, I just want to give a heads up. Also something that might be important to some travelers: it's on the second floor so you'll need to use stairs to come and go.
