Located in Westchase district on Beltway 8 Feeder road next to IHOP. Hotel is older and has some wear. Smoking is allowed , so some areas do have an odor, my non smoking room did not. The room was clean, though the tub did have some stains. The mattress was older and probably in need of replacement, but was tolerable. General the hotel is fine as long as you aren't looking for a 4 star hotel or anything more than a place to sleep for the night.
I did have an issue with connecting to the WiFi, When I called the front desk, they sent some one up right away and he fixed the problem.
The front desk clerks were friendly, but the clerk was having an argument with a guest for several minutes while I waited to check in, which I felt could have been handled in a more professional manner.
Room was spacious. Definitely older, could use a remodel. A/C definitely worked! They stop serving breakfast at 9:30am and when I got there at 8:45am they were completely out of mostly everything. They even ran out of forks. I'd stay here again but not for the price I paid
I booked online and requested a non-smoking Premium Room. However, the room had a awful smell which you cannot stay there for overnight. I request to change room, staff is friendly, but they can only have a standard double available, they did not offer downgrade refund, or I had not ask for any refund! I requested for a late check-out the next day, hotel allow free extended to 1:00pm instead of 12:00pm, however, the staff keep on calling and kicking me out of the room at 12:00pm!! So, there is no such thing call courtesy!! These hotel is starting to so run-down, cannot give them a 3 1/2 star, maximum only gets a 2 1/2 star!
The only thing good about the hotel is, they have a good location in the westbelt, chinatown area, just walking distance you can find different kinds of restaurants.
Short one night stay with a very late check-in and a very early check-out. Front desk staff was very nice and I received prompt attention. Everything was fine, except for the breakfast--it was sub-par even by 2-star-hotel-breakfast-included standards. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It was all that I needed.
A municipal management district, Westchase was first established in 1995 and is home to over 1,500 businesses, including major employers such as Chevron, Dow Chemical, BMC Software, and Jacobs Engineering.
