« This is our favorite cabin to stay at in Wisconsin!!! It is beautiful, clean, lots of room inside/outside for kids to play, and has everything you need. « We enjoyed our time on Somo lake, the paddle boat was also a lot of fun. This was our first real trip with our 8 month old puppy, cabin 1 was ideal for a dog and she learned to swim as well. Huge bonus was the water was clean so Echo didn’t require a bath. Good experience! »

« We had a great time at the cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. The hosts made sure there was ample water and firewood.The property was beautiful with plenty of options to keep you busy.Bugs were definitely bad, but wearing the right clothing and using bug spray, worked well.I did find some ticks on my dog, but this is the woods and it’s to expected.I will definitely be back! »

« We had a great time staying at Turner’s Retreat. The host was great. He is communicative, accommodating and generous-we were included in the July 4th festivities, live band, raffle, firework show, and got to spend time on their pontoon. The kids loved the beach, and playground which are a short walk across the street. There is also a restaurant near the beach that has really good food. « The house was large and airy, and immaculate. The kitchen was very well-stocked with every kind of utensil, pot, pan, and dish. We enjoyed watching humming birds, turkeys, deer, chipmunks, herons, goldfinches, mourning doves, and squirrels. The yard was large enough for leisurely walks with our dog, and although we didn't use it, the fire bowl was beautiful. I can't recommend this rental enough! »

« Great house and location. Having 4 kayaks available was great, and not usual from our experience. The river was not very busy, I think we only saw a handful of fishing boats the week we were there. « One of the best places we have stayed! The cabin is stunningly beautiful. The pictures do not tell the story, this is a place you have to experience. Very private, right on the water, nature everywhere. We had geese and deer in the lawn, hummingbirds flying around, turtles all around the docks. Place came with 3 kayaks and a paddle boat. The fishing was out of this world. After 4 days we lost count in the 70s. We caught crappie, bluegill, perch, and bass. DNR says no bass in lake...but we caught...
