Conveniently located on a quiet street at the edge of Yellowstone National Park, this 3-bedroom 2-bath home, part of a newly built duplex, is sure to impress! On the main level is the open kitchen and living room space along with the first of the three bedrooms and one of the home's two bathrooms. Upstairs you will find the two remaining bedrooms, a laundry room, the second bathroom, and an open sitting area with a futon couch. This home can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests and is the perfect spot to enjoy all the benefits having a full home and kitchen offers. The entrance closes again until the opening day of the summer season in April. Very quiet area. Short and easy walk to West Yellowstone to shops and restaurants. Perfect location! Just a couple blocks to stores and a couple blocks the other direction to entrance of park. The location for access to YNP can’t be beat with the west entrance (the best entrance) just a few blocks away. It’s on the edge of town, so away from the busy and crowds but town is small so you can get into the center of town via a quarter/half mile walk. Really, you can’t find parking closer if you drive in anyway! The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked and very comfortable. All the “extras” she offered were well thought out from the provided toiletries, Webber grill, cooking utensils, coffee, spices, and everything else. The heated bathroom floors were very nice as well as granite counters, wood floors and trim. It was overall a comfy place to stay with lots of room for us to spread out after a long sat in the park. The place was just like described, very clean, and packed with all the extras! Plenty of soaps, lotions, towels, blankets, toiletries, and a well stocked kitchen. We loved having the extra space to spread out. Super close to the park entrance, grocery store, and restaurants. After driving around West Yellowstone, we decided we had the best place in town. It was very clean and well-stocked with everything we could need. The kitchen had new appliances and a good variety of pots, pans, utensils. Nice linens and towels. It even had lots of extra items like chairs, a cooler, water bottles, movies, puzzles, books. The owner was very responsive to communication and any questions we had. I was traveling with my sister and her teenage son, so the 3 bedrooms gave us each our own space. There are no houses across the street because that is the literal edge of Yellowstone National Park! The home itself is very nice. It has a well appointed kitchen and the 2 bathrooms even have heated floors! All the windows seem brand new. They open and close very easily. The owner Trish is fantastic. It is clear that she works hard to make things nice for her guests. We had some major car issues during our trip and she went the extra mile to help us deal with that. This home was perfect for our family of 6 while we visited Yellowstone and the Tetons. Wish we could have stayed longer! (I wanted to stay longer just to read the amazing collection of books! So did my 2 year old; he wanted to go through the entire Berenstain Bear collection =) Home was super clean and I appreciated all the natural cleaning products and soaps available. And it was nice having supplies there for our day trips into the park. (storage bags and containers a+!) For those of us use to a/c, it can get pretty warm even with all the windows open. We were there with 90 degree+ days though. A window or portable a/c upstairs would help. Bathroom upstairs had 2 sinks (it would be nice if they could figure out how to partition the one sink off). Bedrooms were a good size with plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases. A walking trail is directly across the street and the stores of West are also easily accessed. (I had no problems walking to Madison Ave, but the seniors preferred to drive) Only thing that would make this property even better would be some outdoor seating and a fire pit.
