Personnel super friendly and helpful. Very quiet and comfortable except for construction outside which started at 7.30am on saturday. Very convenient close to shops and Michael fowler centre. Great food and drink!!! Grateful thanks for super kiwi hospitality.

A drinking glass had lipstick marks on a glass that was in cupboard. Please also sort out your taxi cards as they are outdated. West Plaza needs to liaise with taxi company

Poor old West Plaza needs an update. First impressions walking in as that is looked dated. Staff service was great. Once in the room, it was clean but tired. Especially the bathroom. No extractor either. Very basic amenities. No extra blankets (although I'm sure I could have asked). Single glazed. TV had a poor picture quality. It's saving grace is its great location.

I did a one night stay at West Plaza after attending a work function. Staff were incredible, friendly, obliging and provided great service. Whilst the West Plaza is getting a bit tired, it was very clean and provided everything I needed. Location is super convenient to Tākina, Te Pāpā and lots of restaurants and bars. I'll definitely stay again if I need to stay in town overnight.

Great location, not so great shower
Excellent location and really close to Takina Conference center and Te Papa. Nice restaurant and breakfast, friendly service. My shower was terrible in my room 224, really low shower head, shower curtain and flooded badly after only a minute. Couldn't shower for more than a couple of minutes and still flooded the entire toilet area. They gave me more towels to try and contain it.

The staff were really lovely. We had a clean room and the amenities we required. Whilst a bit dated in parts, it was still absolutely functional and in good repair. We would happily stay again in the future.

Hotel location was perfect... 5 - 10 min walk to all main CBD attractions. Room was clean and tidy and as advertised. Bed was comfortable, with hard and soft pillows provided. Bathroom was clean and sink was big but no ledge to put your makeup bag or deodorants etc... also note no fan in bathroom to remove steam or smells. Staff were friendly and efficient and we arrived early and they allowed us to drop our bags and room was ready early and they rang to let us know which was very appreciated. Overall i would stay here again and even try and food next time
