Lovely hotel, friendly staff, nice breakfast. We went to see the Waterloo battlefield exhibition which is a taxi ride away but it's a lovely hotel to stay if you are going.

Great for a stop over to/from Calais and ports.
We stopped over for two nights on our way back to Calais from Germany. The hotel is really nice, set back from the main road in Waterloo with lovely grounds in which to sit and relax with a glass of wine. The hotel is modern, has an interesting layout and nicely appointed rooms which are very comfortable. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We wanted to visit the Waterloo battlefield museum and the hotel is perfectly located about 10 minutes drive away. The main road through Waterloo is surprisingly nice with plenty of shops and places to eat. We'd definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel for the Waterloo attractions. Could walk 200 meters to Wellington HQ. Friendly staff and easy park. Restaurant was closed but many options close by, including an excellent Thai.

A very good surprise
When booking the hotel, I didn't know what to expect, I was blown away when I got there to see it is in the middle of the town and also secluded and quiet, clean, with big room space and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on in a hotel.

The hotel was great and the service as well. The only issue is that the air conditioning is set up to be on a certain temperature (too warm For summer) we had to ask for a solution, and they brought us a portable fan. Not ideal, but they tried to give us a solution.

Our room and the property were impeccably clean. We appreciated being allowed an early check in after a long flight and were upgraded since they are less busy on weekends. The hotel breakfast was delicious and served quickly. Many shops and restaurants are an easy walk, however the train station is farther. Still walkable though.

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights, and as she put it - everything about this hotel is great. The staff is very friendly and professional, the decor is great, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant is excellent, including the breakfast. I had stayed at the hotel over 6 years ago and was very happy to return. Also, the location is perfect for Waterloo, right on the primary street, but with convenient on-site parking. We look forward to returning next time we need to be in Waterloo.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. We wanted to have dinner at the hotel but it was apparently fully booked the entire week. At 19h, we asked again and by insisting we got a table. All tables were not booked so they might lack personnel. The food was good. Breakfast as well.

Lovely hotel surrounded by green in the centre of waterloo. Very Friendly staff and good breakfast cooked to order, plus buffet. Covid measures in place . Room was big only problem was the sliding door to bathroom which was “out of order” but not really suitable for use as no privacy to use the toilet .shouldn’t of been on sale in that condition,but apart from that would happily recommend a stay there.very quiet for centre of town and liked that you feel out in the countryside, but actually 5 mins walk to restaurants etc.

A great hotel. Our room was large, modern & fittings were up-market. The large bed was very comfortable. The room comprised a small entrance hallway with luggage rack for 1 suitcase and a small wardrobe with safe and shelves. The bedroom itself had a writing desk, a separate small table and two armchairs. There was also a mini-bar. The bathroom was tastefully decorated with a full-size bath and a shower over The hotel is situated in large park-like grounds and there are a number of “art deco” items placed around. There is ample free parking in the grounds. The accommodation is located back from the street so is very quiet. We found all the staff to be attentive, efficient and pleasant. The breakfast was mainly a continental one, with breads, juices, tea and coffee, cold meats, yoghurt and cheeses. However, you could also order eggs and bacon if you wished. It was all very good. The hotel is about 1 ½ kms from the train station. Just over 15 euros return to Brussles for the two of us -about a 35 minutes each way. A couple of small criticisms. When we booked the hotel on-line we were not aware that the hotel restaurant was closed for three weeks. This was to allow staff to take their vacation (right in the middle of the tourist season?? ) Secondly, the bath had no non-slip coating or non-slip mat so it would be very easy to slip over. The mini bar wasn't very cold and the bathroom light was very dim (not good for applying make-up!) Still a great hotel though.

Een mooie kamer, zeer schoon en een fijn bed. Een prima ontbijt, maar jammer dat er alleen varkensvlees producten beschikbaar zijn. Mijn zoon is Moslim, dus dat was voor hem beperkt kiezen. Misschien een idee om dat te veranderen. Makkelijk parkeren, gratis en zeer ruim. Ook prima wifi. Het hotel is een leuke uitvalsbasis voor de omgeving van Brussel en er zijn een paar leuke restaurants in de buurt, en ook dat van het hotel zelf natuurlijk !

Oasis in the middle of Waterloo
Great place to stay in the center of Waterloo. A green and peaceful oasis. The staff are very attentive and professional. The morning breakfast offer all you need to carry on the all day. The bedroom is spacious and clean with a top bathroom.
