Out the back door you are literally a few steps from the ocean — high tide and low tide, both spectacular for a walk out on the rocks. « Our retreat was awesome with gorgeous views of the bay, eagles and other magnificent birds plus 3-4 seals who visited us daily. Along with nearby hiking trails we drove into Acadia National Park which was unfortunately very crowded so we hurried back to our very own peninsula to enjoy the solitude, watching the tides roll in and out. Definitely recommend our location to others seeking peacefu gorgeous escape . »

« Excellent lakeside view. True peace and quiet. Courteous and friendly owners who respond to messaging extremely fast. 30 minutes from the Canadian border in Lubec with some stunning vistas. We travelled here from NJ for Halloween weekend in late October 2025, and the trees were turning and changing colors all along the drive up, and all throughout Maine. Cozy cabin vibes and an easy to use fireplace with plenty of firewood. Highly recommended. »
