« Amazing location! The serene beach view can be enjoyed from the dinning room or the porch, with beach access just a few steps away. The house is beautifully designed with thoughtful details throughout. « Our retreat was awesome with gorgeous views of the bay, eagles and other magnificent birds plus 3-4 seals who visited us daily. Along with nearby hiking trails we drove into Acadia National Park which was unfortunately very crowded so we hurried back to our very own peninsula to enjoy the solitude, watching the tides roll in and out. Definitely recommend our location to others seeking peacefu gorgeous escape . »

« Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

« We had an awesome stay at Little Bay Retreat! The place is immaculately clean and so comfortable as a home base for exploring this area of DownEast Maine. The views from the deck are constantly changing with the tide, so much to just sit and enjoy. Visited Lubec having lunch at the old sardine factory overlooking the water, went to West Quoddy State Park and walked the trails and visited the lighthouse, went to Jasper Beach and discovered a wonderful nearby restaurant south of Machias called...

« We were simply delighted with this cozy and comfortable waterfront cabin, beyond anything we were hoping for. The cabin is spacious, wonderful for relaxing on the deck or just a few steps away from strolling the beach, If you're considering this property, my advice to you is to GIBIG (Grab It Before It's Gone)! »

« We absolutely loved our stay at The Sanctuary. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing vacation . I especially loved the decor.
