"They have a unique business model with no management on the property. they were available by phone and text, but not immediately. This left several of us left out in the rain trying to get in our rooms. The communal kitchen was not really somewhere you could cook. There was a microwave and toaster oven, but no dishes. The rooms were small, but modern and efficient. Weirdly there were only a few guests although when I tried to book it showed it almost booked up. The location is great right near...

Inn at the Sea

8/10 Good

"The property is in a perfect location, convenient and easy access to the beach and downtown restaurants. The staff at check-in and check out were both very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and I was happy that they included a broom and dustpan for the beach sand. My only detractor was that there’s no AC, which is the Oregon coast so understandable; however, the windows go right out to the walkway and there’s no tint to block everybody from looking in. The only way to stay cool in the room is to have the windows open so we wound up propping curtains with chairs to have airflow, but not have everybody staring at us. Again, overall, a great experience. Don’t judge a book by its cover."

Quileute Oceanside Resort

"We stayed in the Premium Oceanfront Studio with one king bed. The highlight was the incredible location—an oceanfront view with easy beach access. A convenient outdoor faucet near the building made rinsing sand off our feet before entering the room easy. The studio was spacious and included a well-equipped kitchen with pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, and more. The king bed was comfortable, the pull-down blackout shade worked very well, and the table included two built-in USB charging ports. This is a great place for a technology-free getaway. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the signal near the office was weak, but it encourages you to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings. The beach is excellent for walking, kiting, and low-wave surfing. Check tide times before heading out. The area is also incredible for stargazing—under Bortle 2 skies, the Milky Way is easily visible to the naked eye. Bring a telescope or blanket and enjoy the night sky. The main drawback is that the property feels dated and needs maintenance. We noticed visible cracks, worn framing, mineral buildup affecting faucets, unevenly hung wall décor, limited heater controls, difficult-to-access outlets near the bed, and thin walls. Overall, the location, ocean views, spacious room, and unique natural surroundings made the stay worthwhile. Guests should expect a rustic, older property rather than a modern resort. Bring sandals for beach walks, watch the tides, and don’t forget stargazing gear!"

Lighthouse Suites Inn

10/10 Excellent

"We had a nice updated room. Angela at the front desk told us during check in that she really enjoyed working in hospitality and it showed. She had to repeat the same information for each guest and she did so like we were her most important guests of the day. The hallways were clean and the decks in great shape. The bathrooms and kitchen area were updated and exceptionally clean. This may be our next favorite place in Ocean Shores."

"Pet friendly room was good. Staff was good with a few questions I had. Breakfast was good for hotel. Pet area was ok, people not picking up their dog waste, but also no dog waste bags available, but I bring my own wherever I go. That’s not on the hotel, but maybe better having more doggie bags available and dog waste bin not full."
