"We had a fantastic summer stay at this condo in the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley. The unit was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing after days filled with outdoor activities. There's so much to do both in the building and around the area, and the team was quick and helpful whenever we had a question. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high-end, hassle-free getaway in Deer Valley!"

"The Zermatt Hotel has always had a reputation as an upscale destination in Midway, Utah, so when I saw the room rates for the Fourth of July weekend were so reasonable, I immediately booked four rooms for our group. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and helpful. One thing to note is that there is a $10 early check-in fee if you arrive before 4:00 p.m. One person in our group was charged the fee while the rest of us were not, so the policy didn’t seem to be applied consistently. Overall, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. However, one room’s bathroom had clearly been missed during housekeeping. There was soap scum in the tub and hair left behind, so we requested it be cleaned again. Later, that same room experienced a problem with the shower faucet that required maintenance to come replace it. Another room had a fairly large hole in the carpet, which was unexpected for a hotel with Zermatt’s reputation. The property itself is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained, the pool was fantastic, the miniature golf was a lot of fun, and the life-size chess set was a hit with our group. The new restaurant has recently reopened under new management. They were still working through some growing pains and had run out of several drinks and menu items, but the food we did order was very good. I’m confident they’ll find their rhythm. We were disappointed to learn that the large steakhouse has closed, as it had been one of our favorite features"

"This was a nice place to stay for one night in June. It was more affordable than staying at a hotel in Midway (10 min drive away), but more than expected. This is a family-owned roadside motel with plenty of charm. There are 10-15 ground floor rooms accessed from the outside by a traditional metal key and parking in front of each room. The owner lives next door so the lobby is usually locked. You just need to pick up a phone and the owner will walk over to check you in. She was talkative and friendly and asked about my family, why we were there, what our plans were and when we were going to come and go. I didn't mind, but some might prefer a bit more privacy. The room was large, clean and well maintained. It had a king bed with a memory foam mattress and a queen bed with a coil spring mattress. The bathroom was large with a single sink and tub shower combo that was clean but worn with a very small showerhead. The A/C was a window unit built into the wall. It worked well and was quiet. Both the fridge and A/C were left off to save energy so the room needed a little time to cool down. The amenities were nice, but unusable. The outdoor pool was heated to 82 deg, but it was covered in ash from a recent wildfire, too dirty to swim. There was also an indoor hot tub, but it was emptied. The owners also own a popular burger and ice cream restaurant next door, so they offer a 10% discount to guests. Overall, Its nice and I would recommend it as long as expectations are kept in check."

"The property itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for exploring Heber City, Midway, and Park City. The home met our expectations, and the owner went out of her way to make us feel welcome. When I mentioned that we travel with a blender because our disabled daughter is tube-fed and we use it multiple times a day to prepare her meals, she even offered to purchase one for the house. That kindness was genuinely appreciated.Our only significant concern was with the listing itself. It did not disclose that the property manager lives upstairs in the home, and we weren't informed of this until the day we arrived, after our plans were already set. Had we known beforehand, we likely would have chosen a different property.Because we were staying directly below someone, we spent much of our stay trying to keep our normal family activities as quiet as possible. Our daughter occasionally vocalizes loudly, and using the blender several times a day made us feel self-conscious about disturbing the people upstairs. While no one ever complained, it added stress that we weren't expecting on vacation.To be clear, this review is not a criticism of the owner or the property manager. The owner was thoughtful, accommodating, and genuinely cared about our experience. Our concern is simply that the living arrangement should be clearly disclosed in the listing before booking so guests can make an informed decision."
