Danish invaders first built a fortress here in 914 to protect the town of Warwick. Warwick Castle is located in the city of Warwick, a 40-minute drive from central Birmingham. Parking is available, but public transport is a more economical option. We went for my fiancée's birthday. Coming from Birmingham, we are lucky to have such a beautiful, quiet and nature-filled place so close to us. The breakfast was open buffet and incredibly delicious. Afterwards we practiced golf and it is the perfect place for an enjoyable weekend.
