We arrived early as we had booked Sunday lunch at the George which was excellant and Wayne allowed us to leave our car there. Wayne was very friendly and not intrusive at all. Make sure you arrive in good time to check in early, and double-check what the morning process is for leaving - main pub remained locked and egress was through the rear fire escape - noone in sight so left key in room. The room was lovely - really well laid out, roomy, and clearly well-thought out; lots of little things that made the place really nice. Weak spot was the bathroom - doesn't have a proper door. Shower was also dirty...

"Last minute booking. Host was incredibly accommodating with a late check in and some food on arrival. Nice, big double room with en-suite and good facilities. Excellent breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Accommodation was enough to M1 to be handy for commute, whilst also being out in the countryside and a very picturesque spot. Would stay again. "

"Beautiful and spacious hotel room in the heart of downtown. Nice bathroom, with a well maintained shower. Plenty of hot water. Fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove on site for your convenience. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown Birmingham, and the whole downtown is walkable from the hotel. 5 stars!!"
