"We had a wonderful stay at The Chincoteague Inn for the 100th Annual Pony Swim! The renovated rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was great. The location works well, especially since the Pony Express Trolley stops right out front. We were also able to walk back from the Carnival Grounds in the evening with a stop at the Island Creamery (a must) which is right around the corner from the Inn. Areas for improvement: wish there was an outside shower at the pool to rinse off. Also the refrigerator in room 301 definitely needs to be replaced—it worked but there was mold around the seams…ick. We would stay again without hesitation."
