The property is a beautiful, well kept house from the 1800's with lots of character and original pieces. "We really loved this motel. Our room was perfect. Comfortable bed and two chairs to sit in with a small table between them. Such a treat to not have to have one person sit on the bed. We had a front porch with two chairs, and a back patio with two chairs, small table, and lovely pond, complete with a Mama Mallard and babies. We are porch people and really enjoyed this feature. I was impressed by how friendly and dedicated the staff was to all details of our stay. Clean room, continental breakfast, and laundry facilities for guests all here. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. This motel provided everything we needed and more. Thank you. Deb and Kip Eiger"
