"Desiree was amazing from start to finish. She was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made the entire process super easy for us. She even let us use two surfboards and two boogie boards for free, which was such an awesome bonus and made the trip even more fun.The Westy was such a great way to explore Oahu. We were able to see so much of the island, and everywhere we went locals seemed to love the van too, which made the experience even more memorable. It really gave us a fun, unique way to explore and feel like we were getting to know the island beyond just the usual tourist spots.Can’t thank Desiree enough for everything. She was a fantastic host and made the whole experience incredibly easy and enjoyable. Would absolutely recommend renting from her!"

"Three generations of our family truly enjoyed our stay here to celebrate Grandma’s 87th birthday. The layout of the house was absolutely perfect for five people. We had breakfast on the patio every morning, with the ocean off in the distance and numerous birds (and “Jurassic” snails) to keep us entertained. Along with its fabulous configuration, the house was immaculately clean, there were plenty of towels, and the beach towels were also plentiful (and easily washed every day after snorkeling). A huge plus for me was that it has an electric tea kettle. But bring your own snorkel and mask and fins if you’re a serious snorkeler. The west side of Oahu is not touristy; and the two lane road with numerous speed bumps makes getting to and from the house a tad tedious at night, but during the day offers wonderful ocean views. Snorkeling at Electric Beach is about a 20-25 minute drive from the house and has good snorkeling and a lifeguard. And a little further south is the Aulani Disney resort where you can rent loungers and an umbrella and have beach waitstaff bring drinks and food to your lounger. The snorkeling there is just okay (not tons to see) but a very safe bay; and you can’t beat having someone bring you a lava flow and fruit plate while basking on a gorgeous beach! In sum, this is a perfect house for a family vacation; I highly recommend it. It is nice being away from the touristy spots—and still get an açaí bowl five minutes from the house!"

"The condo at Hawaiian princes was excellent. The views of the ocean the cleanliness of the room and the laundry facilities that we had there was great. But the condo that I had at Mākaha Valley Towers, was dirty when I got in there, and it had dirty towels in the tub. I also had to wash my sheets to make sure I had clean sheets. I vacuumed the rooms and then I took the dirty towels in the tub and put them in a plastic bag. I let the host know about the situation. But I had a great time there. Love the pool at the property."

"The property is great. The price is reflective of Hawaii during peak season. It wasn't immediately clear that we were booking two separate houses in one neighborhood, but we figured it out, and it worked out quite well for our large multi family group. It's in a very quiet corner of the island away from Honolulu and all the tourist attractions, with access to some very good beaches without the crowds."

"The house was perfect for our family to cook, watch movies, relax and enjoy each other. We went to the beach all day and enjoyed using the umbrellas beach chairs and towels that were provided. The only thing that would have made it better would be an outside grill for barbecuing."
