"My wife and I arrived 3 hours before check in, the staff was very accommodating in holding our luggage and let us know promptly when the room was ready which was only an hour later. The complementary breakfast at the Mermaid Cafe was delicious and was way better then expected. The hotel is from 1885, you would never know as the rooms are updated and very clean. The only small gripe I had was having to pay $50 for late checkout. With the cost of our 3 night stay I would think they could wave this fee. Overall we loved our stay and really loved NSB."
