I only stayed one night since I needed to take a flight the next day. The hotel is very comfortable and cozy, breakfast was good and the staff very kind. The room was very clean and had everything I needed.

Nice hotel. Clean and tidy and laid on a nice breakfast. No tea or coffee in the room which would’ve been nice. Didn’t see many staff members except at front desk - they were helpful but not very friendly. Hotel is in great location right near the Gates of Dawn and lots of bars and restaurants in walkable distance. In the whole a nice comfortable stay

Clean New Hotel
Decent hotel for the money, Good location, Fairly new building and facilities, The atrium room in which I stayed lacked a window that would open and didn't have working air conditioning. The standard room in which I stayed was comfortable. The hotel was clean throughout with nice lounges with TVs and a microwave oven. The front desk was staffed - useful because I had problems with the check-in computers.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Just a couple minutes walk from the Gate of Dawn - entrance to old town. One member of staff - a male night receptionist - went above and beyond. He was professional, friendly and helpful. A real credit to the hotel. One downfall is no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. After breakfast service had finished the only way of getting a hot drink was from a coffee machine in reception - 1€ - or as I was told by a female day receptionist when the machine broke down ‘ there is a restaurant around the corner you can buy one there’! Expedia advert for the hotel said there is a shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel - there isn’t one! Would definitely stay at City Gate hotel again.

A bit dated, the room was certainly comfortable enough, despite the absence of room temperature control. That said, the hotel was very clean and quiet. Location was good - at the southern edge of Old Town, and an easy 10 minute walk to/from the bus station. Breakfast was nice, with a good variety of fresh foods. Overall, a very good choice of accommodations.

A great hotel with friendly, helpful staff, good food and good location. I can only think of one possible improvement (may be just a British request) which is a kettle and tea/coffee in the room, apart from that, perfect! I would recommend it to friends and family.🙂

Didn’t work for me
Pros: location, nice bed. Cons: they gave me the worst room (101) they had which ruined my night. It was close to stairs, elevator, luggage room, so the noise was constant. They should never put anyone there for a fee. Sorry but I will never stay again.
