"The staff at Trébol was helpful and very friendly. Thanks to Carmen for helping with tour reservations. She was amazing. The hotel has a wonderful old world feel to it. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the lobby or in the courtyard. There is no elevator so be prepared to do some stair climbing. If you like the markets you’ll be happy to know that the hotel is across the street from two major markets filled with food venders, restaurants, and artisanal products. We spent hours in the markets. The breakfasts were very good. The hotel is very clean. It was quiet too. We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Trébol. I’ll stay there again when I return to Oaxaca."

"BED AND BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE, OUTDOOR PATIO GARDEN AND SITTING AREAS WERE EXCEPTIONAL, THE LOCATION WAS CLOSE TO MUSEUMS, HISTORIC CHURCHES, RESTAURANTS, LOCAL MARKET AND ZOCALO! HOWEVER, IT IS A HISTORIC BUILDING ITSELF, BUILT IN THE EARLY 18TH CENTURY, AND OUR WATER SUPPLY WAS SHUT OFF FOR OUR LAST TWO NIGHTS OF SIX THERE, AND WE HAD TO MOVE TO ANOTHER ROOM!
