Appartement grand et plutôt bien situé

La mauvaise note mise vient d'un problème qui existait avant notre arrivée et qui, bien qu'évident, n'avait pas été pris en compte. Avec une mauvaise réactivité de l'équipe sur place il n'a pas non plus été réglé avant notre départ ! La porte fenêtre donnant sur la grande terrasse ne fermait pas (un simple coup de vent l'ouvrait) or il fait froid à cette période de l'année... Sinon grand appartement assez agréable d'où l'on peut se rendre à pieds au Belvédère et dans tout l'intérieur du ring.

The place felt very much like a corporate apartment and less like a VRBO that I have rented elsewhere. The place was very large but didn’t have much furniture, and had only one rug which made the place very echoing. Plus the walls and communicating door to the next unit allowed us to hear them in the bathroom and shower.However these are small criticisms, and overall the place was good and quite convenient.Note there are only 2 pillows and 2 towels and when we asked for more we were told they could deliver them for 19 euros.

Kommunikation und Check-in waren einwandfrei. Da wir einen Termin in Wien hatten konnten wir die Wohnung bereits um 13 Uhr beziehen, was sehr freundlich und hilfreich war. Etwas missverständlich war das seitens der Vermietagentur angekündigte „Willkommenspaket“. Hierbei handelte es sich um zwei Tabs für die Spülmaschine und vier Probetübchen Shampoo und Duschgel. Na ja. Die Sauberkeit war teilweise nicht akzeptabel. Bad und Schlafzimmer waren gereinigt. Der Boden vor der Küchenzeile war dermaßen verklebt, dass wir ihn als erstes nass gewischt haben. Das Sofa war voll mit Krümeln, so dass wir auch dieses gründlich saugen mussten. Die Wohnung entspricht den Bildern im Netz, wobei sie an einigen Stellen bereits erhebliche Gebrauchsspuren aufweist. Die Lage und die Terrasse sind ein Pluspunkt ebenso wie das Haus, bei welchem es sich um ein sehr ruhiges Geschäftshaus handelt. Als sehr problematisch hat sich allerdings die Verbindungstür zur Nachbarwohnung erwiesen. Hierdurch hört man wirklich jedes Wort, Telefonat oder sonstiges Geräusch aus der Wohnung. Hinzu kommt, dass das Bad der Nachbarwohnung nur durch eine sehr dünne Trockenbauwand vom Wohnzimmer der Ferienwohnung getrennt ist, so dass man auch hier jedes Geräusch mitbekommt. In einer Nacht sind wir aufgewacht, weil der Nutzer der Nachbarwohnung um 4 Uhr duschte, und wir dachten, jemand betritt unsere Wohnung. Fazit: top Lage, gute Einrichtung und gereinigt und ohne Nachbar hinter der Verbindungstür empfehlenswert

Needs some TLC

We stayed here for four nights and found the space to be more or less as featured in the listing. However, it should be noted that the apartment is on the top floor of an office building and has a very cold and impersonal feel because of this. We arrived in the evening and the building was dark and all the floors below (as we went up in the glass-walled elevator) were dark. A bit creepy, really. The apartment is spacious and comfortable enough, but also in need of some repairs and a little decor. The wall behind the kitchen sink has been water damaged and is just covered over with packing tape, there are nails/hooks in the wall in a few places that have nothing on them, and there is a large electronic device with no cover on the wall in the living room that makes the place look shabby and broken down. We chose the place mainly because of the balcony; it is large and we used it quite a bit, but it also lacks style or comfort (only the two wicker chairs have cushions while the small wicker sofa does not). Again, a little effort and attention to detail would go a long way.

Home like stay in Vienna

We stayed 9 days at this lovely apartment, wonderfully located near Belvedere Palace. The apartment is quiet in a secure building & felt very safe. The outdoor patio & big windows were a plus on warm, sunny days. Would love to come back & stay here again!

Spacious penthouse apartment

We enjoyed our stay immensely in this quiet but conveniently located apartment and greatly appreciated having air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room during a very warm period in Vienna. Highly recommended!
