"I have been renting homes for many years and this property was the nicest I've ever rented. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed for our long weekend in Verndale, MN. Wish we could have stayed longer and I'm sure we will be back next year!"

"Hotel was clean all the way around. Excellent breakfast"

"Clean great service nice place"

"My reservation was not honored. But turns out for the better. I feel at the was really low end. And way overpriced. I would never stay there."

"The bed was comfortable and the breakfast great. There was cigarette smoke coming through the bathroom vent which was unexpected and unpleasant."

"Wonderful property! Beautiful sunsets!"

"The management was very helpful and friendly."

"Very clean and comfortable!"

"Very comfortable and nice place. The area is great and there was lots to do and see. Definitely would stay again in the future. "

"Clean and well stocked."

"Staff was very helpful, food was good. We enjoyed our stay."

"Was a perfect getaway!"

"We had a fantastic, relaxing visit at this property. The host was responsive to my questions (even the ones that turned out to be silly user error on my part). The cottage was perfect for us and the location was beautiful. We enjoyed the kayaks on the river and the lake and used the hot tub more than daily. The bed was extremely comfortable - and the pillows were great. We would definitely return, it was a much-needed getaway."

"Recommend"

"If I could give this location a 4.5 I would. I generally reserve 5's for luxury or "above and beyond" locations. This location is exactly what it appears to be, a "cozy" motel outside of town that appears to be being rehabbed. It was in reasonably good, clean condition and well appointed. I say reasonably, because there were definite signs of age, the bathroom door didn't pull tightly closed, and there were some cobwebs here and there, but nothing you might not expect from an older, countryside...

"Great place to stay highly recommended"
