This hotel is in a perfect location. Just a short distance by water bus from the train station and it’s in the middle of everything. Many shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. It is a pain getting your luggage up 3 flights of stairs if you’re on the upper level but once that’s done it’s great!

Fantastic location for exploring Venice. Owner really helpful and friendly. Shame the mouldy grouting in the shower lets it down and disappointed to return to the hotel late morning to find the room unlocked and unattended, as were all the rooms on the floor, for the house keeping team. This is obviously a daily routine as it was the same on two other occasions. Could clearly see other residents belongings and bags in their rooms along the corridor. Zero security. A real shame as the hotel is in a great location.

The location I think was THE best ! It was a little difficult to find at first, but once we did the man was very helpful throughout our stay. The room was EXTREMELY clean and immaculate, and spacious. I would definitely stay there again

My wife and I just spent 4 wonderful days in Venice. This was our first stay at Al Vagon, and it won't be our last. Maurizio the owner, and Adriano his manager, were very helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. Al Vagon's location is perfect. It is right in the middle of almost everything you want to see and do. The room was very comfortable, and was kept extremely clean. We love this place, and so will you. Joel and Jackie Strauss

The room was clean, small but enough for my husband I. The area was very walkable with MANY shops and restaurants surrounding it. The area is pretty loud well into the early hours (at least 1:00 am) but it didn’t bother us. It is a good place for the price.
