B&B Ancient Venice is in an excellent location. The bedroom and the shared bathroom were a decent size, however the shared bathroom did not lock. The check in time is very limited and you have to call the host to open the door as there is none on site.

Over looking the Campo in the University district. Always something going on eateries there and more just around the corner plus a palaccio in view as was the Grand Canal with a vaporetto stop. It was a marvellous choice of place for us.

#### Hotelzimmer im Innenstadtbereich

Insgesamt war das Hotel enttäuschend und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war absolut ungenügend. Man mußte erst anrufen, damit jemand kam, um einen herein zu lassen. Dann kam eine Dame, die immerhin englisch sprach, alles zeigte und dann bar abkassierte aus der Beschreibung ging nicht klar hervor, dass das Badezimmer von mehreren Gästen benutz wurde, das Frühstück war mies: abgepackte weiche Croissants, eine Tasse Kaffe, Zwieback und abgepackte Marmelade. Es gab Milch und Saft im Kühlschrank. Es fehlte der Fernseher im Zimmer, lt. Personal sei er geklaut worden. Ich rate jedem ab, dieses Hotel zu buchen

#### Kein Fernseher---kein Doppelbett wie versprochen

Es gab kein kontinentales Frühstück, sondern nur Kaffeekapseln, Marmelade und abgepackte Croissants. Ein Doppelbett und ein Fernseher waren nicht vorhanden, obwohl sie bei der Buchung und auf dem Foto angekündigt bzw. angezeigt wurden. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Das Bad war eine Katastrophe und der Fußboden war defekt. Die Außenfassade wurde bei google maps falsch angezeigt! Umgang mit den Gästen war nicht vorhanden. Fehlende Frühstücksbestandteile wurden erst nach telefonischer Rückfrage wieder aufgefüllt. Service=0

#### Μην μείνετε εκεί!!!

Αντέξαμε γενικά την διαμονή γιατί είμασταν στην Βενετία και θέλαμε να περάσουμε καλά, δεν θα το πρότεινα σε κανέναν να μείνει εκεί, μπορείτε να βρείτε κάτι καλύτερο στα ίδια χρήματα. Η κράτηση μου ήταν για διπλό κρεβάτι με μπάνιο και δωμάτιο καπνιστών όπου αναγράφεται ότι έχει και πήραμε ένα δωμάτιο οπού πέφταν οι τοίχοι από την υγρασία, ηχομόνωση καμία και 2 μονά κρεβάτια με παπλωματάκια να σκεπαζόμαστε σχεδόν λιωμένα από την χρήση και εννοείτε δεν μας άφησε να καπνίζουμε. Το κυριότερο το ΜΠΑΝΙΟ είναι σε ΚΟΙΝΗ ΧΡΗΣΗ με άλλο ζευγάρι όπου δεν αναγράφεται πουθενά, παμπάλαιο όπως και όλο το κτίριο και δεν μας είχε αφήσει καθαριστικά σε περίπτωση που θέλουμε να το καθαρίσουμε. Μετά το τσεκ ιν ήρθε και μας άφησε πρωινό για 5 μέρες δηλαδή 10 κρουασανάκια 10 κάψουλες καφέ, 1 χυμό 1 μαρμελάδα και έφυγε και δεν την ξαναείδαμε ποτέ , μας είπε να αφήσουμε το κλειδί στην πόρτα (αυτό νομίζω δεν έχει ξανασυμβεί σε κανένα ξενοδοχείο στο κόσμο). Πήγαμε και ψωνίσαμε για να τρώμε το πρωί οπότε μην υπολογίζεται στο πρωινό. ΜΕΤΚΑ από όλα αυτά πήρα στο Hotels.com την έπαιρνε τηλ για όλα τα παραπάνω και τους το έκλεινε και αφού δεν την βρήκαν ποτέ μου έδωσαν από την σελίδα μια επιταγή δώρο γιατί την επόμενη κράτηση μου (κάτι είναι και αυτό). Γενικά τα μόνα θετικά είναι ότι έχει θέα, είναι κοντά στις στάσεις, κοντά σε μια πλατεία για ποτό το βράδυ μέχρι, γενικά η Βενετία είναι μικρή πόλη και είναι σε σημείο που πας παντού.

Arrivati in loco non c'è nessuno nella struttura, sulla porta due numeri di telefono, entrambi suonano a vuoto. Ci rivolgiamo al negozio a fianco per informazioni, ci dicono che capita spesso. Direi che l'inizio è pessimo. Decidiamo di insistere e dopo diverso tempo finalmente ci rispondono a uno dei due numeri di telefono. Ci dicono che arrivano subito. Quando arriva una signora ci spiega che il titolare è fuori città ed ha lasciato a lei (che fa tutt'altro mestiere) l'incombenza del B & B con la lista delle prenotazioni in cui noi non compariamo (di male in peggio) così cerca di chiamare il titolare il quale non risponde. Il problema è che non ha neanche una camera libera, così ci ritroviamo senza un posto da dormire in un periodo di eventi in cui tutte le strutture sono piene. Consiglierei expedia di verificare la correttezza e la professionalità delle persone con cui lavora, visto che a noi è bastata una chiacchierata di un paio di minuti col vicino di attività per capire in chi ci eravamo imbattuti. Questo permetterebbe di preservare la fiducia nei servizi offerti da expedia

#### Nice views but no staff around 

We stayed at this B&B for 4 nights in total. The positives are that the views from the corner rooms are lovely and the staff who opened for us were friendly. However, there were quite a few negatives. The cleanliness and maintenance of the B&B was not up to standard. Also, when it says breakfast included, I feel like that is a bit misleading. Breakfast includes coffee, juice or milk in the fridge, and crackers and jam on a table that you take whenever you feel like it. No staff prepare a decent breakfast. No cutlery whatsoever, besides a small plastic strip to spread the jam. We bought some cereal from a store close by, but there were no bowls so we had to use the small plastic disposable cups provided and there were no spoons either. If I had to go to Venice again, I would definitely search for other options with regards to B&Bs or hotels and only use this place again as a last resort.

Il B&B si trova vicino a piazza S. Barnaba, vicinissimo alla fermata del vaporetto Cà Rezzonico (linea 1 - la linea principale che porta dalla stazione fino al Lido). Toni è stata gentilissima. La stanza (mansarda) era datata ma la vista era impareggiabile. La colazione è quella da B&B, brioches confezionate e macchinetta per il caffè. Il bagno in comune era ampio e pulito. Il wi-fi è gratuito e funziona benissimo. La struttura avrebbe bisogno di ristrutturazione, come la maggior parte degli stabili veneziani. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono tenuto conto che in questo periodo gli hotel chiedono dai 300€ in su per notte...

If you want a luxury stay then this isn't the place for you... If you want to go out and experience Venice and enjoy this amazing city then this hotel is fine. It's cheap but has a bed where you can put your head down for the night. close to some fantastic cicchetti places and a nice little square with bars for the evening. has a boat/bus stop near as well as a cash point.

De entrada, creo que la palabra hotel , no refleja lo que nos encontramos, de hecho, otra pareja se pasó de puerta. La primera impresión es de una casa deshabitada,tuvimos que esperar a que llegase una señora a darnos las llaves, nos pasó por la mente... será una estafa???...la señora en cuestión llegó, abrió esa puerta , y nos dió las llaves de una habitación con dos camas , que creo que no medirían 80cm, nos pasó a un baño compartido lleno de toallas por el suelo , para tapar los trozos de suelo que faltaban. En fin... nada recomendable.

YOU MUST READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING! There was NO HOT WATER to wash, NO kitchen tap or water cooler for DRINKING WATER! SHARED BATHROOMS WERE DISGUSTING! THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST. Carpet dirty, Very hot room with aircon fan covered in dirt which made my nose full of bogies the next day after sleeping. WORST STAY OF MY LIFE. location was good and the lady who gave us the keys was lovely but the manager was a dick! He made us wait till 230 to go in the room when we could have gone in earlier and did not tell us that another lady would be opening the place and we could have left out stuff with her.

#### Bien situé mais il s'agit d'un Bed-sans-Breakfast

Le personnel est gentil et compréhensif. On demande de payer cash dès la première journée sans être avisé lors de la réservation. Les toilettes sont mal entretenus avec une douche brisée. La chambre est spacieux avec de grandes armoires mais sans cintres à l'intérieur. Il y a pas un vrais petit déjeuner.

#### I don't recommend you, definitely!!!

Please, be carefully when you choose this hotel. We made a reservation on this site, we had a confirmation) but!When we came there, to the hotel, there was just nobody and door was closed, only phone number was written on the door)so, we decided to call for making a check in! And what we listened? The owner said to us(even not said, he started to scream like-"we don't have any places for you, I don't have an INTERNET and I don't get EMAILS!! So, I didn't see your reservation and that's all!! Go and find something another!" Can you imagine this!? We made a reservation 3 months before coming to Venice!! But he didn't see!) we were in shock! So..if you don't want to get the same situation and irresponsibility of owner/workers of this hotel, of course I don't recommend to you this place!! It can knock down all your plans ;(( be carefully, guys!! (And actually the price was not so low ;) (80€ per night without tax) You can find orher hotels(many) there with this price and with good and even perfect service;)) good luck with your choice;))
