Our New Vancouver Home Base
We really enjoyed our recent stay at this property! The house was in a great, quiet, and clean location just minutes away from several amazing restaurants and fun outdoor activities. The house had all the amenities we needed for our stay—in addition to the unexpected welcome goodie basket! Our group of four also really appreciated that we could each enjoy hot showers every day, thanks to the continuous hot water system. The mattresses and pillows could have been a little more comfortable, but otherwise we were able to relax and have a great time. Thank you so much to the property owners and manager for making this home available and comfortable. We definitely hope to make it back someday!

OMG. I can't say enough nice things about our stay. The place was HUGE and comfortable and quiet and just all around amazing. This was by far the best value for the money spent I have EVER received from any stay anywhere. There was literally nothing that could have made our stay any better, it was already top-notch. Everything we needed and wanted was there.

It was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Quiet neighborhood in the suburbs within easy and short driving distance to many wonderful sights. We especially enjoyed the amenities basket and the friendliness of our host! We highly recommend this home.

Amazing Place - One Small Hiccup
The property is HUGE (bigger than the two bedroom apartment I lived in for 7 years!) and the amenities are incredible. The host was kind enough to put out a mattress for our third child and the place is fully equipped. The backyard is gorgeous and the location is nice and quiet with very little traffic. Any questions we had were promptly responded to. We were looking for a place to stay in North Vancouver and selected this property because of not only the amazing pics, but also the proximity to family in North Van. Unfortunately this specific property is in West Van even though the VRBO advertisement shows a North Van address (the North Van address is the second property of the owner). It was only 15 - 20 mins from family, but Hwy 1 can have some brutal traffic some days so it sometimes became close to 30 mins. We enjoyed using the kitchen and washing facilities. Having TWO bathrooms was also really nice for our family of 5. You are very close to a large shopping mall and grocery store so you can easily pick up supplies if needed. There is also a park nearby with a climbing structure for the kids. Hiking trails are just down the road and lead to some beautiful scenery. Thank you for a great trip - we definitely enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Stay
We enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights. The place was great and it was large. We had so much room. It was very quiet. The backyard was cute and secluded. It's in a nice part of town. Management and the owners were both very nice and easy to work with. We loved the "Welcome basket" and the whole made jelly was amazing. I am just bummed out we could not bring it with where we were heading next. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful little oasis in Vancouver
This suite was perfect for our family of 5 prior to our Alaskan cruise. It allowed us to explore Vancouver for a few days and have a welcoming cozy place to call home. Very spacious and so many thoughtful amenities along with a lovely quiet location. Would highly recommend!

Amazing stay in West Vancouver!!
My wife and I do a fair amount of travelling and use VRBO frequently. This is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in!! The detail is outstanding, there are two huge bedrooms, a beautiful backyard with beautiful plantings, and it is located in a great neighborhood. The owner was outstanding to deal with, very responsive and gracious. The property is a short ride to downtown Vancouver (15 minutes or so), and about 35 minutes from the airport. He even left us a welcome basket with some homemade jam that his mother makes, it was delicious!! We absolutely would stay here again, and plan to get back to Vancouver at some point in time. When we do, this is one property we hope is available!!

This is one of the best Vrbo homes we have ever stayed. The house is beatifully arranged and close to all the best attractions in Vancouver. The host was very helpful by providing an additional mattress and letting us check in early.

Wonderful stay for families
This stay in West Van was perfect for our daughters family and us. The space is huge,well laid out and has a separate bathroom for each bedroom. The bedrooms are also separated from one another which gives each family more privacy. Shane is a great host and very responsive. The backyard is gorgeous and has a play structure for the children.

This property worked out perfect for our 2 couples before our cruise to Alaska. The price was excellent and the place was exactly as advertised. There was some confusion as to the property address as the owners home address was listed rather than the actual rental but Shane cleared it up without any issue. Would definitely stay here again if my travel took me to Vancouver.

Large property with great backyard
We loved staying here! I was worried it’d be too small for our family, but it was quite large with more room than we needed. The host set up an extra mattress on the floor for my kids along with a pack n play. They had a nice goodie basket to welcome us. Their backyard was huge! Lots of room for my kids to run around. If you’re staying with young kids, just know there are stairs to get down into the unit. Also there is no door to the gate to get into the backyard, so make sure you watch little ones outside. Overall a great experience and more than we expected.

Great place, great location!
We had a great time staying at this property. It was exceptionally clean and big enough for 4 adults and our 3 year old. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities of home. Wish we could have stayed longer- and will definitely try to stay here again on future trips to North Vancouver. Hosts were great as well and very welcoming!

Great Spring Break Trip
The property was fantastic for two (2) couples. Each couple had their own full bathroom with privacy. There was plenty of space when we utilized the kitchen for cooking in and enjoying some wine. The location was perfect for our needs: we skied at Mt. Seymour, Grouse Mountain, Cypress Mountain, and Whistler. The suite was a perfect resting place after full days of skiing. The owner even got us a slow cooker to use for prepping some meals before we left for the day. A+ experience and will definitely use again in the future.

Perfect Location, host and property
I was looking for comfortable place to stay a couple of days after coming back from a ski trip to Whistler before getting on the flight home from Vancouver. This property sits on a nice and quiet residential neighborhood, with a great parking spot and within close driving distance to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Cypress Mountain Ski area, great restaurants in both North & West Vancouver. It's a very spacious two bedroom suite in a really beautifully finished basement, with washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, reading nook (with lots of great books), playstation for the kids, two full bathrooms and a beautiful backyard. It was the perfect place for us to relax after skiing and explore the area. We felt totally home away from home, and Shane is the perfect host who communicates promptly and was even able to kindly accommodated a valuable late check-out for us! Will definitely recommend and intend to be back when visiting Vancouver!

Beautiful Stay in Vancouver!
Everything we needed. Washer/Dryer provided. Comfortable towels and sheets. No central air was a bit tricky for Texans during an unusually warm summer in Vancouver. Back bedroom and bathroom had cobwebs and a lot of dust on the walls and tall shelves. Maybe construction? Beautiful coffee and tea set-up with yummy snacks provided. Nicely furnished and comfortable beds.

Perfect location for a visit to the Vancouver area!
They always say “Location, Location, Location” is what matters most in real-estate but it also applies to housing for vacations as well. This was a perfect location for our family trip to the Vancouver area. Almost everything we wanted to do was within a 30 min drive from the property. Whistler was the exception, but getting there and back was a breeze as well as you’re within a couple of minutes drive to the highway heading that direction. Downtown is just a quick jaunt over the Lion’s Gate bridge. The property was wonderful in all respects. Very nice parking pad in the front. The communication with the host is bar-none the best I’ve had. Excellent vacation all around. I would highly recommend. The best endorsement came from my kids. They didn’t want to leave.

Amazing location for a family looking to explore the city and outlying areas! Tons of space, clean, quiet, beautiful neighborhood, lovely yard, play set, short walk to a path along the river, quick to downtown, Grouse Mountain, and many other attractions. Amenities, communication, and extra touches were really appreciated. Beautiful backyard and great space for kids to run. Huge basement space and plenty of room. Our biggest issue was not the listing, but the overall location. While beautiful and only 3 miles from downtown, we incorrectly assumed our family of 5 could get around with an Uber or at least taxi, but both of these proved difficult every time. I do not recommend this location unless you have a rental car.

The property was much better than expected. Communication before the trip was extremely helpful. We enjoyed staying at this location with the ease of walking the river trail to get where we need to go. If you’re to stay away from the city life, this is the place.
