"Glad you have breakfast. Most choices were ok. But today there was no meat choices. Should at least have some sausage links if anything. Eggs need to be kept warmer. The staff were trying to keep everything filled. Your front desk staff on 6/12 -6/13 were exceptional. Did great answering my questions and they were right on getting our bathroom light fixed. Overall great stay! Miss a pool though!"

"Has potential but not cleaned well. Killed 3 spiders in just a couple of hours. Toilet and sink were not cleaned well. Stains on comforter. Felt dirty. Breakfast was okay but the guy took out like 4 muffins at a time- and you had to ask him to replenish things (like he was hoping people would just leave). Pity because the decor was nice even though the room was small. Bathrooms updated too, but again not quite clean. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. Had it been at the lower prices then maybe you can say it makes sense. "

"I booked three rooms for one Saturday night. All three rooms ended up being on different floors. I had 10 children amongst the three rooms, and Saturday morning the pool was closed for maintenance. Breakfast was decent. Rooms were decent. Location was decent."

"The hotel was probably once an adorable boutique hotel. Now it is run down with weeds in the outdoor planters and televisions that do not work. We had to ask for towels. It is a pet friendly hotel which is not my "cup of tea" and there were lots of pets! There were two different desk clerks. One was completely clueless/unhelpful. The other seemed better but still, things do not run smoothly. Hudson was a cute and seemingly up and coming town so the hotel could capitalize on that if they just invested and revamped. On the plus side, parking was free and easy and the downtown area was close and accessible."

"We were in the area for a wedding and stayed a few extra days at The Amelia. We loved the hotel and had a huge 1 bedroom suite on the top floor. It felt like staying in someone’s personal home. The hotel is extremely clean and our room was kept tidy daily. There is a small kitchen area stocked with coffee, tea, drinks and snacks. It was only a few short blocks to the main part of town with great coffee shops, restaurants and stores. I would definitely book this hotel again if we are in the area again, My only complaint is we had a lot of luggage with us and you need to be able to carry it up the stairs. It didn't take away from the hotel experience but you should be aware there is no elevator and ask for help with luggage if you need it. Fantastic stay."
