![One of my favorite places at the Mission Inn is a bit hard to find. It's near the back of the property where there's a several story open atrium with a gorgeous spiral staircase that seems to float in mid-air. It's absolutely stunning to see in person.

![This is the hotel I think of when I hear the Eagles' Hotel California.  It's a maze of interesting stairways and courtyards.  They really go all out for Christmas. "What a wonderful place…from the minute we checked in until we left my family was treated above and beyond. Our room wasn’t ready on time which was ok with us waiting an hr, but your staff made sure we were comfortable, and gave us a food voucher. How nice and just lovely after our long drive into town from Death Valley. It’s like you knew we could use a little treat. What a bonus after the kids were already enjoying the delicious cookies upon checking in. All the staff we encountered from the front desk, Starbucks, cleaning employees and shuttle driver to the airport. ALL were EXCELLENT!!! You all had smiles on your faces and were always happy to accommodate from getting us to the airport on time when the shuttle driver just left he turned around to pick us up so we didn't have to wait the 20 min before he returned. Our kids loved the cookies upon our arrival as well and the day we left the kids were sad to leave…The shuttle driver said he had cookies for us! The kids smiled with excitement. It’s the simple things that you do that really made our stay beyond perfect. I will tell all our family and friends this is the perfect place to stay away from home. We will be back in the future. We are looking forward to it! Thank you all!!"
