« My husband and 3 teens were more than comfortable in this gorgeous lakeside home. We skied at Mt. Sunapee (about 25 min drive) and made our meals at home in the evening. The house is new and welcoming. We were always warm enough and slept well. The view from the Master BR is breathtaking. I would recommend eye shades for the morning as the sun is bright through the bedroom windows. The caretakers are kind and very responsive. I would return next year and recommend this home. »

« A long road trip to Maine required an overnight stay to break up the drive. I chose Colby Hill Inn over any chain hotel for its promising charm, mostly and restaurant. The building is old and dated but therein lies its charm. Rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. There are parlors on the first floor where a TV can be found. « The house exceeded all expectations. I can’t possibly say enough about this place. It’s perfectly located, perfectly clean, perfect layout. We didn’t have kids but had we, it would have felt extremely welcoming. Plenty of room, super clean, great temperature control inside, the bedding was top-notch, access to a grill…. Seriously awesome. The owners were excellent with communication. I’ve travelled the world and they, again, were top brass. »
