"Check-in and check-out was nice and friendly. Breakfast had a great assortment of food for the 3 days there. However there wasn’t a free table of coffee in the lobby like Hampton’s in USA , and there isn’t a microwave or small refrigerator or wash cloth but this is the European experience. 😃. There is a grocery store across the street which was very convenient, and close to S-bahn train and tram."

"The location of MoMa1890 is unbeatable - literally a minute’s walk from the Ostbahnhof, so incredibly easy to get to and from the airport on the S-Bahn or around the city, in a much nicer area than the sketchy area around the central train station and with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s a charming little hotel and offers really good value for money for such a central, convenient location: my Urban Single room on the top floor was fairly quiet, much more spacious than I’d expected and very comfortably appointed including with good air conditioning (a must in the brutal heatwave Europe was experiencing at the end of June) and L’Occitane toiletries. There is complimentary mineral water provided in the room and you can help yourself to soft drinks and snacks from the first floor lounge at any time. Reception is manned 24 hours and I felt the property was very safe and secure. The breakfast buffet was very good but quite expensive at €21 so if you are on a budget you might prefer to grab breakfast to go from one of the many places in the station. I booked last minute as I needed somewhere to stay overnight in Munich due to a flight cancellation and MoMa1890 turned out to be the perfect place to base myself - I’d happily stay here again if I return to Munich."
