"This lodge has many great features and one quite bad. They have an excellent location to visit the Minewaska State Park (quite a few restaurants around), nice rooms, a beautiful backyard with some trails, and a decent included breakfast. The bad thing for us was the heating/AC, which is extremely noisy and (at least in our room) blew strongly straight into our heads while sleeping. Overall, it was difficult to sleep."

"Awesome to visit , relax, and enjoy the surroundings. The vibes were sooooo chill, the staff were so cool. But they had 1 big flaw, watch out for the hidden fees, check your bill and invoices before check. They add additional fees if you charge anything to your room for purchases which is crazy. Any charge to your room will be given a servicing fee. If you order breakfast, and pick it up yourself but charge it to your room, you get a fee. If you have dinner or drinks or lunch, and charge it to your room, there’s an extra fee.!!!! So bring cash or pay your bill up front… they use a system called Toast for their credit transactions, and they charge you the convenience / service fee for this system which can be as much as $40 per transaction."

"We enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful and clean. The heated bathroom floor was especially nice. Easy walk to nearby restaurants and shops. The clerk at the desk upon check in could use some people skills and upon check out we couldn't find anyone at the desk at 9 am. We did interact with a very pleasant desk clerk mid stay. She was very nice."

It truly felt like a hidden gem and the perfect place to slow down, relax, and recharge. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was wonderful from start to finish. A special shoutout to Justice, who was absolutely amazing! She was so welcoming, sweet, helpful, and genuinely made us feel right at home. ❤️ We truly had such a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature, this place is a gem! ✨🌿🐐"
