"The gal at check in was courteous and friendly. The hotel was having a plumbing issues and she was very informative. We unfortunately had to leave a day early and Expedia was very helpful with cancelling our last night's stay and crediting my account in a very timely manner."

"Very, nice clean suite. Very good area and conveniently close to downtown's attractions and events! Staff very warm and friendly!"

"Overall, the home was fine and worked well for our group. The large number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the open floor plan was very comfortable. Suggestions for improvement would be better communication with the owner as we had some questions along the way and struggled to reach the owner. Because the house is listed through a third agent, Evolve, it was delayed communication. Maybe a notebook with specific instructions and owner phone number left at the premises would be helpful. A few small things such as a large cooking pan with Teflon peeling, which is not safe for consumption. we could not run the dishwasher as there was no dishwasher soap. Minor but details matter with renters. Also would be a nice touch to have body soap in the bathrooms."

"Poorly cleaned and furnished. We had to check in an hour late because they were supposably "Cleaning" from the last guest. They floors and counters were dirty and sticky. I cleaned swept and mopped and cleaned the kitchen. There were empty balloon bags on one of the bedroom night stands. There were no towels. There were two large white kitchen garbage bags full of dirty linens. After buying towels I looked in the bags and there were dirty towels in them also. I washed and dried all the dirty linens and towels. The beds only had a fitted sheet and comforter on them and were in poor condition. The "Half bath was in the laundry room where you had to squeeze between the washer and wall to get in.(12" gap) The closest door in one of the bedrooms was ripped off and I fixed it. They informed us at the handrailing was ripped off the wall and would be back to fix it which they did. I also had them fix the light above the kitchen sink because it was falling down. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes so I ran that. The House overall was poorly furnished."

"Updated furnishings, great space for me and my toddler. Internet was spotty and a harmless field mouse ate some of my leftovers, but management was attentive and addressed concerns promptly. Location was good and price was great"

"Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had! The property is managed by a 3rd party called Upstay and it was shady from the start. I wish I’d cancelled my reservation as soon as I made it. They are difficult to get in touch with and do not communicate well. I was over charged for parking. The listing clearly says “$20 PER STAY” for parking but I was charged $20 per day. After trying to explain this to Upstay on multiple occasions I just paid the $60, however, they never sent me the number of the parking spot we were assigned and sent multiple emails and reminders to pay for parking if I wanted it. Even the email with checkin details said I needed to pay for parking and they would send the spot number. When we arrived at the property it is in a TERRIBLE neighborhood. We tried the code they provided in the check in email several times and could not get it to work. I emailed them about the parking and called the number for the host in the listing twice but could not get anyone to answer. It was cold, dark, and raining so we went to a hotel and contacted VRBO about the issue, requesting a refund. The host did not call back about our problems for almost THREE HOURS. I have never had such a problem reaching a host! I could tell the “assistants of the host” who were calling were in a call center because there was a lot of other conversation and noise in the background. I fought with VRBO and the host for a week or so to finally receive a full refund. Say NO to Upstay!!"
