This cottage is located on the Bideford River that runs from the Atlantic ocean and feeds into beautiful Green Park. A channel runs through the middle of the river, while the edges are shallow and host a very interesting seascape. Clam, Mussel, and Oyster shells along with periwinkles are very common to find. If you wait until the tide is low, walk to the right and you may be lucky enough to find some Starfish! This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bedroom cottage boasts breathtaking sunsets and almost a 1/2 acre of land for all your daily activities. In the morning, we sipped coffee and enjoyed the view from the deck, and then we did some incredible stargazing at night.The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need: games, books, spare blankets, spices, crayons—whatever you need, it's there. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of room to hang out as a group or relax in a cozy rocking chair with a book and a cup of tea.Would highly recommend. The house comfortably fits six (close) adults (the walls are thin so you hear everything). Kayaking in the water was lovely, but it's muddy and full of algae so definitely not for swimming. The only downside was that the house was full of mosquitos from faulty window screens and the A/C window unit in one of the bedrooms.
