Cottage Home PEI is a spacious vacation rental designed specifically for large groups of families and friends. With the capacity to accommodate up to 12 people in comfortable beds, it’s the perfect place for gatherings and creating lasting memories. The main floor features an open layout with a kitchen, a custom island, a coffee bar, a dining area, and a living area with a fireplace and a Smart TV. This space is located at the front of the house, showcasing large windows. The main floor Ezy Suite provides a queen-sized four-poster bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, a Smart TV, and a private three-piece bathroom. An additional powder room that includes laundry facilities The Lofty Master Suite features an ensuite bathroom equipped with dual vanities and a stand-up shower. It is furnished with a queen slate bed and pillow-top mattress dressed in lovely linens. This suite also includes a lounging area with a bar, a 65-inch Smart TV, and a work desk offering an ocean view. A viewing deck with lounge seating extends from the suite. Additionally, there is a separate game room with a large chalkboard wall for kids. It features a foosball table and a game table stocked with board and card games. For adults, there is a poker tabletop complete with chips, trays, and cards. On the lower level, there are two additional spacious bedrooms: both Bella and Wispy offer cooling memory foam mattresses and Smart TVs. The house has all you could ever need to make your vacation enjoyable. The kitchen is fully stocked; just bring your food. The view is incredible, especially from the second floor deck! There are plenty of indoor and outdoor games to keep all your guests busy. The hot tub and fire pit are located perfectly to allow the space to spread out and provide water views. Plenty of room (and then some) for three adult couples - each had their own bathroom as well; well-equipped kitchen; lots of indoor/outdoor seating (covered and uncovered); BBQ; hot tub (sheltered); indoor sauna… this home really does have everything. It is also very tastefully decorated and homey. I had rented it and invited my siblings and their partners to spend time together in a relaxed environment. Boy did I pick the right place!! We were a group of 12 and there was ample room for everyone and lots to do! The kids enjoyed swimming and kayaking, and the veranda spaces were a huge hit with the adults. The pantry and fridge had tons of essentials and the kitchen was a dream for making meals for 12! I have already booked to return next summer. The beds were very comfortable for sleeping and the recently added A/C / heat pumps with individual temp controls for most rooms was very nice. We also enjoyed the pizza oven and managed to produce some very tasty pizza despite never having used such an oven before. Mosquitoes were not bad during the day, but as others mentioned at dusk in the evening they were pretty oppressive. We brought a good quality bug repellent which was able to keep them at bay pretty well, but you would not want to spend much time outdoors in the evening without fully covering yourself with repellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious, comfortable home. We were a group of 7 family and friends ages 19 - 67\. The private bedrooms for everyone and the several gathering places were perfect. We never felt like we were cramped or in each other's way. The outdoor deck areas, shaded and unshaded, gave each of us something we liked. We enjoyed using the firepit, the pizza oven, the deck swings, the enclosed porch, and most especially that fabulous outdoor live-edge bar on the deck. Morning coffee at that bar, looking over the bay, was very relaxing. The kitchen island, complete with a live-edge eat-at counter was perfect for preparing pizzas, opening oysters, and spreading out our meals. The kitchen is fully equipped and was easy to work in. We loved being right across the street from the bay and enjoyed exploring the water and playing with the hermit crabs that were in abundance. Sandy was very easy to reach and we greatly appreciated the refund she gave us for missing our first night there because our ferry crossing from Caribou was cancelled and the bridge was closed due to Hurricane Lee. The house worked well for our group. The beach area is very close and we enjoyed walking along when the tide was out. We really enjoyed spending time on the deck too! It exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated with all the necessities. The beds were all super comfortable and the rooms were all very generous in size. The patio and deck area were our favorite places to hang out. Loved the 2 hanging chairs!!!! Have nothing negative to say at all. Would recommend this place to everyone! Val A.
