This quiet neighborhood is minutes from the hospitals, downtown, TJC, Bergfeld Park, excellent restaurants, and entertainment. The home was renovated in 2022 and hopefully has anything you would want in a home away from home. The screened in back porch is an excellent place to enjoy your morning coffee, while overlooking the fenced in back yard. You will have 8 steps from the porch, down to the yard, where there is a grill, and a grilling area with a 6 place table. The neighborhood is not great, but it was quiet. The house seemed clean and the beds comfortable. The furniture is quaint and pleasing. There are a few small improvements that could be made that I see in other reviews. We have family in Tyler and visit often, and would enjoy staying here again. ##### Beth H. Mildew on walls and ceiling in bathroom. Bathroom shower does NOT put out more than 2 cups of water at a time barely trickling out of the showerhead, directly down with NO pressure. You have to physically get into the shower to turn it on and adjust the water, which I wouldn't complain about if you at least got a decent shower. That was the worst. The two beds were fine, but the pull out with trundle was awful, plastic crunchy mattress covers under pilled scratchy sheet and something that was not a bed covering. Pillows so old and dilapidated and stained I had to go buy some along with a blanket. Cobwebs throughout, huge battle with a roach in the bathroom. Spiders throughout. Steps to backyard are steep and dangerous having no railing on one side. Curtains not wide enough to cover front windows to block light. Just one thing on top of another. For the price it would have been okay if not for the shower situation and the gross air vents. AC was cold, fridge was clean, dishes clean. It's a cute place but not maintained for continual use and definitely no comfort features like pillows blankets, or can opener that works, sharp knife, or more than two rolls of one ply toilet paper. ##### Amanda K.
