Want to enjoy a quiet night by the fire- you will find the perfect hideaway spot out in the backyard with nothing to view but the lake and the trees. 25 min drive to First Monday Trade days Canton and Yesterland Farm. Boat Launch : North Shore Landing RV park - Private Boat Launch is a Mile away and charge $5. The space : The open concept home offers spectacular lake views from almost every room. There is also a 3 season covered porch off family room and a Expansive deck with great view of lake. With plenty of space for entertaining and multiple lounging areas in the live oak canopy backyard - you will feel the cool lake breeze even on the hottest Texas summer day. House has a King suite and master bath with soak/jetted tub and shower. Also two queen bedrooms and full bathroom. There are two additional twin beds as well. Inside the kitchen, you'll find all the silverware, pots, pans and plates you need to pretend like you’re going to cook yourself dinner from scratch! The living room is furnished with a nice flat-screen smart tv where you'll be able to Netflixh and chill with friends. There is a dedicated work spot with fast internet. You will have access to washer/dryer. Note : Lake fork water levels are back up and full. We have water under dock. Guest access You'll have access to the entire home and yard. This will include the garage, back patio, boat dock. Lake Fork is a popular fishing lake also great for boating and kayaking(The lake does have stumps so you need to be cautious of where u are going). Come and relax at this Lake Front retreat and Kayak around in the provided 4 kayaks. \* Home is in a quite residential neighborhood with neighbors who appreciate their privacy. Please don't disturb neighbors and don't wander into neighbors backyard or space. By making this reservation, Guest attests that the following statements are true and agree to this \- I am at least 25 years of age and enter into this agreement freely with Host. I accept responsibility for all persons on the Property and agree that children will be supervised at all times I understand there is some inherent risk from outdoor lakeside activities (i.e., swimming, use of the dock/ use of kayak) and accept responsibility for that risk. The guests will be fully responsible for all damage and/or loss that occurs during their rental period (excluding acts of God or nature). I will acknowledge the condition of the property in good order and condition upon arrival or inform the Host promptly if found otherwise. Host is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, injury or cancellation fees. Host is not liable for any incidents in regards to the house, use of boathouse/Dock, lake and use of Kayaks. This visit was primarily for my wife and I, although our daughter brought our 3 grandchildren to visit over the weekend. Less than 2 hours from home, this was the perfect getaway! The house was very nice, and the amenities were also nice. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy this beautiful home in a quiet area. We enjoyed watching the birds and deer, and the serenity of the setting, with nice views of the sunrise and sunset! The kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing, even if only for a few minutes, while the weather was pleasant. We would definitely like to have another visit during warmer months. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet as well. We got to see mama doe and their fawn, and several little bucks, right in the yard. You can tell the outside of the home is in the process of getting some new fencing and updating, so I hope we get to come back for a visit and see the finished product. Very peaceful. ##### Ashley T. Spent our 26th anniversary enjoying the quietness and nature. Loved the fishing...caught 4 catfish. Wanted to catch more, but who doesn't. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away for some peace and quiet. Check in and check out was smooth. House was clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds comfy, lots of storage. Plenty of hot water for showers. No designated path but we made our way down to the fire pit and boathouse to look at the lake. Enjoyed watching the wildlife on the back patio (birds, squirrels, deer). Got to enjoy the big beautiful harvest moon. Very peaceful and serene. Think you and friends or family would enjoy a stay here too! ##### Donna S. We were there primarily for my husband and son to fish. Being right on the lake and having a dock for the boat were perfect! We launched the boat on the first day and kept it at the dock at night. That allowed my daughter and I to have the truck to explore surrounding towns while they fished. The host was very responsive and check-in was a breeze. The beds were all super comfortable, there were plenty of towels and wash cloths, and the kitchen was well-stocked. There was plenty of room for us to be together and to have our own space. They had a cute little basket of musical instruments and my daughter spent several hours learning to play the ukulele! We also enjoyed soaking up some sunshine while reading on the deck. The neighborhood was nice, quiet and very safe. My daughter and I never felt scared even being there alone late into the night while the guys night fished. Bathtub was filthy and not washed shower curtain, head molded, and mildew on the bottom of it.3\. The WORST thing was the kitchen sink leaks, and obviously had been leaking for ice in extremely long time. There was horrific mold all in the bottom and on the wall underneath the sink.4\. Loose boards on stairs and walkway around the house 5\. Landscape being completely unkept. Grass was 15 inches tall obviously not cut in weeks. It was full of weeds and they were so big, they were growing all the way up and over and through the deck on the house. There was one weed that was at least 5 feet tall around the corner of the house.6\. The disposal did not work at all. 7\. The shoreline wood was absolutely in shambles8\. No access in and out of the water to swim. 9\. Large Trash bin was full when we got there.10\. Coffee spills all down the front of the cabinet.11\. Living area fan blades were covered in dust and grime, obviously had not been cleaned in an extremely long time. 12\. We tried to reach the manager/owner for four days before the trip by Email and phone and never received a response.
