"No check-in without driving to alternative hotel back towards town. Breakfast at 8-9:30….arrived at 8:30….no meat (bacon or sausage). Went to alert kitchen that many diners were seated and dissatisfied, and found note on kitchen door saying ‘back in 15 minutes’. Half hour later, returned and said ‘had to go pick up my papers.’ Breakfast ended, we all left with just eggs and pastries/yogurt. Rates increased, on-site service greatly reduced and breakfast disappointing. "

"The cabins were very old but clean. Bathroom exceptionally small. Air conditioning was just a unit and baseboard electric heat if needed. Very rustic. "

"Too may kids. We were not able to enjoy the amenities because of it, they were running around in the pool, jacuzzi, and even the gym. We couldn’t even get a work out in. Was hoping for a romantic getaway and too many kids just ruined it."

"Mostly, bathroom had signs of mold and cobwebs. Toilet wouldn't flush either and had to have maintenance come by and it still doesn't work properly "

"Room has been renovated so it was nice enough but we spilled water on the floor and the towel was so dirty. We only got 2 washcloths and 3 towels for 4 days of stay. The coffee maker was broken. I contacted the place and they never came to fix anything or bring new towels when requested. The office was never open the entire stay. For the price I would have expected a little more "

"If I tell you how wonderful it is staying here, it may be booked everyday. But I'll say it anyway: this is the most wonderful place to stay in the world. I'm grateful to Holden and to Robbie for this opportunity. There is a sense of gracious hospitality that permeates the entire place. The details of the cabin itself, the well stocked kitchen, thoughtful touches of extra blankets and pillows, and plenty of towels, books and games...being so close to the State Park and the expansive yard...nature outside our door.Thank you."

"The outside is in need of a repaint, but the inside of the room was surprisingly nice. The staff was super friendly and the continental breakfast was also good."
