"When I pulled up and saw the signs ( not that I’m political) on the property I started to cancel, but when I went in the lady (Pat) was very pleasant and friendly. I end up staying and I must say that my stay was wonderful and very relaxing. I loved that the cabin was very clean and equipped with everything I needed. I’m planning on going back real soon."

"Great location close to gas station, jerky store and fishing spots. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lot of nearby options for things to do. Enjoyed a 2 night fishing trip. Very nice cabin. Love the back porch/fire pit setup. We ended up grilling dinner every night. We were even able to watch the Michigan game at the cabin. The crystal clear night sky made for an amazing view of the stars that you can't see in the city. Awesome place, we definitely plan on coming back. Thank you!"

"The husband and I stayed for his birthday. The area it's in is very quiet. The people were very nice. The house was small and comfortable. There a alot of things to...keep you busy. It's worth every single penny. Definitely helped my husband and I reconnect !"

The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!"

"The property is very nice, smells wonderful when you walk in and found everything to be clean. We had a wonderful time sitting by the fire each night and the river was peaceful and relaxing. I do want to let future renters know that there is no cell service for Verizon at this location, but you can drive a few miles down the road and get cell service."

"We truly enjoy staying here. It’s beautiful and out of the way and you won’t be bothered. It’s a working farm/log cabin builder so you get to see some real neat sites and if you love animals you won’t be disappointed. I’d give them 6 stars if possible and recommend anyone give it a try."
