Superbe emplacement dans les montagnes! Endroit tranquille près de la nature, tout près du centre de ski. Chambre propre et confortable. Nous avons beaucoup aimé avoir une cuisinette dans la chambre (nous aurions aimé avoir une petite table pour déjeuner) et l’accès à une cuisine complète, un BBQ et un spa partagés pour l’immeuble. Il fallait toutefois nettoyer les accessoires de la cuisine avant de les utiliser car laissés sales par d’autres occupants… Nous aurions aimé avoir plus de temps pour profiter des randonnées au sommet de la montagne, on ne savait pas avant d’arriver…

Incredible hotel with exceptional staff who turn a beautiful stay into an unforgettable one. Thank you for making our honeymoon truly special — we were upgraded to a stunning lake‑view room, received a bottle of prosecco with a small desert and even offered breakfast. The Basin Spa is on another level entirely. We’ve visited many spas, but this one feels genuinely exclusive. There were maybe 8–10 people in total, which made the experience calm, intimate, and perfectly paced. We could explore every room without ever feeling crowded. A special mention for the Aufguss sauna ritual — I usually don’t enjoy saunas, but this was something else. A unique, must‑try experience you won’t find anywhere else.

He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat. It isn’t. The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs. The interior was filled with flies - they keep landing on our heads and food. The owner’s acknowledged the flies were an issue, but she said she can’t fix the issue as she doesn’t know where they are coming in from. When we told the owner the toaster didn’t work, she assured me that it did. She said the problem was that the plug was broken, which supplied the electricity to the toaster. (Sorry for criticizing the toaster!) Guest bathroom towels are dishtowels. Getting to the dock is perilous. It’s accessed down a long exterior staircase. The railway ties that once made up the stairs have lifted and twisted over time to be become dozens of hazardous, raised tripping hazards. Getting down to the dock is not for the faint of heart. Once at the dock, access to the dock is gained by climbing over the first dock section that is covered in logs and branches, and has been distorted to a 45 degree angle, making climbing over it treacherous to say the least. There are a series of yurts and a trailer overlooking the property.
