Yurtel-Veneta

8/10 Good

"Overall we had a nice, cozy stay at the Yurtel. We needed to book last-minute accomodations for a football game in Eugene and this was a safe, affordable place to stay not absurdly far away. Our yurt was warm and comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. Our only complaint is the road and neighborhood noise. It should go without saying that you're going to hear outside noise if you're staying in a yurt, but the noise from the nearby highway was quite loud. We also could hear party noise from the neighborhood behind the Yurtel, and apparently folks in Veneta like to set off fireworks for Halloween, so we heard that, too. Thankfully, most of the noise subsided before it was too late and our sleep wasn't disturbed, but it might be nice for the management to include ear plugs in their list of amenities (and maybe eye masks, since early morning light does come in from the skylight at the top of the yurt.) Still, if you're looking for a quirky, affordable place to stay in the area, this would be a good choice."

The Country Retreat- the Getaway!

10/10 Excellent

"The house was clean and well stocked with sheets, towels and blankets. We had a bit of trouble getting in the door (I had the wrong code), but the host was prompt in responding, super helpful and very nice! The kitchen is big and easy to use, there are now two bathrooms (both can be an on-suite) with one being shared by the 3rd bedroom, though not attached. For our quick overnight before flying out of Eugene the next day, it was perfect! Plus this house is no more than 10 mins from the Eugene Airport."

10/10 Excellent

"What a beautiful house and property! Perfect for our family of 10. The kitchen is stunning. Everything fully stocked, in every way. We were so comfortable and happy here and we can't wait to come back!"

Mystical Rose is a whimsical flower themed & fully furnished Yurt.

10/10 Excellent

"This stay was so much better than we were expecting! Not that we had low expectations, but we got to the yurt and it was absolutely beautiful! All the matching colors and attention to detail. You can tell the hosts really put their heart and soul into these sites. We’ve stayed at other places where it feels like a cash grab, and this did not feel like that at all. We were also supplied with ear plugs and a white noise machine which helped incredibly with road noise. It was our anniversary and the rose themed yurt was very romantic. We met the host one morning and she was extremely friendly. Would stay again!"

Hillside Deck Cottages: A cozy, rustic PNW retreat perfect for 4.

10/10 Excellent

"Spent the weekend as I was checking my son into residence at Oregon State. It's not super close (about 50 minutes to Corvallis) but, I was looking for something quiet and pleasant for a family. The Hillside Deck Cottages definitely fit the bill - clean, quiet and friendly hosts made for a truly lovely stay. The size and shape of the cottages are quite unique but very functional and offer an enjoyable place to relax and socialize both indoors and especially outdoors where there's a propane fire pit and grill. The kitchen is small but has all the necessities including oil, spices, and condiments, which I really appreciate. Marty and Janine were warm and welcoming, giving a tour upon arrival as well as recommendations for places to enjoy around the area. Would be very happy to visit again in the future!"
