Toulouse, France Hotel Rooms at the Nemea

We booked 2 suites for my family of 4 for a single night. The rooms were clean and good sized and had a small kitchen which was more than enough for a day or two but probably a bit limited for a week stay. We were a bit put off by the fact that it has limited reception hours and we could not check in till 5 on a Saturday. This hotel is in the airport commercial zone and and not conducive to walking to french bakeries and shops as you can do in most towns in France. We had a car so it was not a big deal. No restaurant but they do offer an buffet breakfast of some kind which we had to skip to catch an early flight. There is a Sheraton next door with a restaurant but found it a bit pricy. In conclusion it was a very comfortably and affordable airport hotel. If you have to be in this area and have a car, I would recommend it. If you want to experience France keep looking.

We arrived a day late, due to a mix-up in car reservations, yet the lady at reception greeted us pleasantly and checked us in. The room was rather nice, comfortable and prettily decorated. The sour note was the snarky reception attendant the next morning who, when we came down a bit late for breakfast, said "next time, maybe you will get up earlier", with no trace of a smile to indicate she was joking or to minimize the comment. A week later, on our way back from Barcelona, we tried to stay at the same hotel and were greeted by the same snarky woman who said our reservation was for a sister hotel (it was, we did not realize Toulouse and Toulouse St Martin were two different places with the same hotel name) and we would just have to go there cause there was nothing she could do for us - again in her sweet, unsmiling tone. Granted, we might have appeared to her to be slightly ditzy tourists, but she is in the hospitality industry and a little smile goes a long way. So, just because of that attitude, I would NOT recommend this hotel.
