東海地方から車で行きました。スマホのナビでしたが、住所だけでは到着できず、電話をかけてもつながらず…。友人が徒歩で探してくれて、ホテルスタッフと直接対応して何とかなりました。ホテル周辺は一方通行だらけなので車で行くと非常にわかりにくく、現地での案内がなければ到着まで難渋します。駐車場も案内がなければわからないです。電話がつながらないのは困りました。 施設は古民家を改築したようで、部屋は快適でした。2階の部屋でしたが結構急な階段で、足の悪い方は1階にしたほうがよいと思います。日中でも車通りが少なく、夜はとても静かでしたが、そのせいかトイレ・シャワーの音や隣の人の話し声、寝息(小さな鼾)も響くように聞こえてしまうのに驚きましたが、「小さなころはこんな風だったね」と懐かしいような気持になりました。TVはなく、日中は観光で不在ですし、寝るときはいつも耳栓をするのでそれほど気にはなりませんでした。トイレ、洗面所、シャワー室は共同ですが、とてもきれいに保たれていて気持ちよく使えました。徒歩5分くらいのところにこじんまりとした銭湯があり、そちらもきれいでゆっくりできてよかったです。 スタッフの方に近くのおいしい飲食店など教えていただき、利用できました。隣におしゃれなカフェがあり、すごく行きたかったのですが時間的に無理で残念でした。 観光は電車利用でしたが、駅も徒歩10分圏内で、駅周辺は飲食店やスーパーなども充実していて、とても利便性のよいところでした。 会計の時にクレジット払いをお願いしたら、担当できるスタッフが昼過ぎしか来られないと言われ、現金払いになりました。普段あまり現金を持ち歩かないようになっているので、困りましたが友人との持ち合わせを合算してなんとか払えました。ATMも近くにありましたが、クレジット払いができると思っているのに突然変更になると戸惑います。スタッフの方の誠実な対応で気持ちよく支払いを済ませ、友人と「こういうこともあるか。」と 全体的に清潔で気持ちの良い滞在でした。 仕事で４泊しましたが一泊800円の駐車場も使わせていただけたので、コインパーキングを気にする煩わしさからも解放されることができました。 チェックインの仕方が分からず、また、メールのどこを読めば宿の方の連絡先があったのか…、とにかく着いた時には“宿に入れない”そんな気持ちになりました。
