"Staff for some unknown reason was monkeying around with an oven in the kitchen at 4am and forgot an item was baking - item began to smoke heavily setting off the fire alarms in the entire hotel from 4:20 to 4:40 - furthermore 3 large fire engines showed up because of the alarm all arriving with sirens blaring. If you want a great nights rest this place may not be your place. "

"We drove 75 miles to the hotel just to be told we could not stay there because we lived 50 miles from the area. (It is in fact 75 miles per our map) the guy at the desk seemed uninterested in telling me why this was a rule. We had booked the room days in advance so I’m not sure why Red roof did not reach out. Thank goodness the hotel down the road was very thoughtful and let us stay the night there. I had never had this happen before and had stayed in hotels closer to home than 50 miles. We had a wonderful stay at the other hotel so maybe it was just a sign. Just a heads up to anyone."

"Clean. Excellent breakfast. Staff very helpful. Bathroom had black mold and very poor drainage in the shower. Water backed up while taking shower."

"The room was dirty, the bathroom door was broken, there were water leaks in the bathroom and the sink! The air conditioner was dirty and piece of broken plexiglass were all over it! This was an econo lodge once we got there! Breakfast was basically a waffle or nothing! The juice machine was broken! Just not what was pictured or described at all!!!"

"Breakfast was pitiful. Eggs poured out of a bag, biscuits that were hard with a little butter on them. No sausage, etc. Waffle mix was too thin to make a decent waffle. We gave up and skipped the breakfast. "
