"Never rent directly from this hotel - You will pay a minimum $60 more than if you went through a third party app. Expect to be warm during your stay unless it's the middle of summer, as the hotel pretends their air conditioning units are "out of order." I stayed in two separate rooms on consecutive nights, and both cooling units had the same "out of order sign." It's a lie. Also, the room had a dysfunctional security lock on the door, to which housekeeping claimed that the latch lock was all they have at their hotel after a failed attempt to fix the dead bolt. If you stay at this place, expect the restaurants and tavern to be full of locals. If you wish to eat from the restaurant or visit the bar, you will need either a reservation or arrive at the tavern very early. Your love of history should be high if you're going to stay here. Otherwise, expect frustrations and high prices."

"Our room was great. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Perfect for what we needed for a one night stay. This room would also be great for a longer stay. Very spacious and a great layout. "

"I asked front to desk to clean my room, but no one came , next day I asked front desk that no came for cleaning, they said some one will come, staff came but they didn’t clean properly, then I have to call front desk again, All 3 days same breakfast being surved, no change in the menu. Pillow were not available, tooth brush were also not available "

"Typical hotel stay. My family enjoyed swimming in the salt water pool. The Tavern restaurant in the lobby was convenient for dinner. Several choices at the continental breakfast the next morning including hot options. I’d stay here again."

"We have stayed here many times with no complaints however this time was different. First, there were no food offerings in the morning as before with no explanation as to why. Not even coffee. There was a power outage one evening and the emergency generator did not engage. I had to climb to the 3rd floor on my just recently healed broken ankles. No help or explanation was offered by staff. Spent all night in the dark and no devices were charging. The room landline was also out. I shudder to think what would have happened if we had a true emergency with no means of communication. The next morning when questioned about electrical service the staff member said it would be handled when the assistant manager arrived at 11 am. Seriously? Wouldn’t management have been on scene when there was a known problem? Never again!"
