We took the pillow off the bed, contacted housekeeping stating the problem they said they would be right up,but they never showed up. We called down to the front desk and the person who answered said that she has been trying to contact housekeeping for an hour but to no avail…Unacceptable. Long story short, I had to physically go downstairs to get fresh bedding and I HAD TO MAKE MY BED MYSELF. UNACCEPTABLE. "

"We had an overnight stay at the Red Roof Ashtubula-Austinburg. I had reserved 3 rooms and 2 out of the 3 were not cleaned properly toilet was dirty, nasty comforter, sheets, and mattress pad (I have had this happen at big chain hotels as well). The front desk guy was nice and looked at the rooms and moved them with no issue. Some went out and bought their own sheets after that. We definitely bought our own washclothes and some bought towels. I travel with bleach wipes and I will say for a motel my room was pretty clean except the light switches. We did not utilze the bar. Couldn't even tell you if it was open. For a quick overnight stay it would suffice just make sure to check the comforters and sheets."
