This is a basic stay, no coffee in the room. The water pressure is a trickle, the wall next to one of the beds was filthy with food stuck to it. I took pictures. The first floor smelled like marijuana. The bed is comfy, the room is quiet and warm.

There are multiple shopping and dining options within a short distance. Beware that extended stay hotels often have families, including children, living there. The rooms are echo chambers and the walls are thin, so you'll hear everything from the adjacent rooms/hallways.

This was a great value compared to other options we explored. The location was good. The only negative was shower curtain was stained and probably should have been replaced. We will seriously consider returning the next time we need accommodations in the area.

Parking wasn't a problem. It was the mattress of the bed. It literally sank when you sat down on it. And I had booked a room with a queen size bed and got a room with a full size bed. On top of that when you sat down on the bed the sheets at the foot of the bed filled with air puffing them up. Not really impressed with the service.

This is a great motel. Lots of people here are long term and peaceful. No rif raf or druggies camping out trying to find somewhere to get high. Staff is extremely polite, kind, and willing to go above and beyond. Great people at a great hotel

The rooms have a full size refrigerator and stove top. Its clean. The early morning staff are kind of mean but its not like you need them much. Well hope not. The cable is cool. You can sign in to your streaming services on the tv in your room.

Rooms have been renovated, but not super clean (there were the remnants of a white owl someone had freaked in the trash when we got there, walls slightly dirty, bathroom floor is peel and stick that is more Peel than stick, etc). Beds are very firm. Tv was very dim. Positives are quick booking and check in, tv had Netflix that you could log into, nice staff, easy parking, on-site laundry. Make sure you freeze your own ice in the trays because we couldn’t find an ice maker!

The staff was friendly. The price was very affordable. I have never been in a room this clean! We had a blacklight with us and decided to look around. We found a couple spots on the bathroom sink and a couple in the kitchen sink. However, I've never been in a room without a coffee pot. Stove and refrigerator, yes. Coffee pot and toiletries, no.

Adequate and served the purpose.

I’m not one to complain so here goes. Room has a strong smell. Probably something to mask the old smoke smell. It wasn’t all bad. There were no cups, plates, glasses, silverware, etc to go along with the extended stay idea and the kitchenette. I had to ask for shampoo as it’s not normally supplied. That said the staff was friendly and cooperative and allowed me an extra hour at check out so no worries there.

Comparing this property to the extended stay in merillville, this one feels a little more bare bones. Comfortable enough but front office closed most of the time, no coffee station, no shampoo. Hard chairs instead of comfortable ones etc. Fire alarm went off frequently due to someone burning food repeatedly, which of course has a bit more to do with the clientele. Comfortable bed and clean room. Someone on the 2nd floor was making a ridiculous amount of noise for hours; sounded like they were playing with a box of rocks or moving the furniture all night.

The hotel itself was fine. It is a non-smoking hotel, but there was always a crowd of other patrons smoking by the outside door, and that smoke filled the whole first floor, including our room which was a fair distance from the door. I think a lot of people live here full time. The room and hallways were clean and the one staff person I interacted with was nice. I did try to get a 2nd room card after checking in and there was no one at the desk. It wasn't late, about 8:30pm. I tried calling the number on a sign and no one answered.

Our room looked like a prison block. No recliner no “ home atmosphere. It was ver stark. Then you have to purchase kitchen utensils n pan. Really. Never have I had to do that any where. I traveled for years never have I had to buy basic. That is really nuts. Then 1 wash cloth n 1towel no hand towels. This is not customer service place. The GM was not friendly his side kick was . The dogs had a good place for potty n the location was great.
