Right next door the bells were ringing every 15 minutes on the evening, then started again at 8am and lasted longer in the morning to call for service (it was Sunday). « A very pleasant surprise as a solo guest. Needed an overnight stay for an event in Abergavenny, went with no expectations, just needed a comfortable, clean place and that's what I got. Yes the place needs a bit of tidying up, decorating, updating of furniture but that doesn't bother me as long as everything works for it's purpose which it did. « The location of the hotel is just opposite to the bus stop which is perfect for us. The hotel ia like a boutique hotel, very nicely decorated. The manager Ian and Christian is very friendly. The room is very clean and tidy and we had a wonderful stay. »

« This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options. However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton. »

« What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. « Food was good, I had one of my favourite meals ham, eggs and chips 😋. Cooked Breakfast, toast, orange juice and cereal available. Room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, I was overlooking the main road but it got really quiet around 11,pm and I slept like a log. Would recommend, good for the price. »
