"The hotel is pretty outstanding visually. It really is like being transported to a tropical paradise.Great views and the size of the room was great. There was a really good pool for our toddler too. Great choice of food at the buffet. I was initially concerned about the price of drinks but they weren't too bad. We did also get water at breakfast and in the room with the Unique package. One of the toddler pools was not working and there were works going on during our stay The music at night from the bands/shows could be pretty loud and hard to sleep at times The British tv channels do not work, apparently this is a bigger problem than the hotel and not a big deal but it would have been good to have been informed about this at check in I was encouraged to check in in advance but I can't see how this saved any time upon arrival as I had to do it all again I'm listing all of these things although minor as these are the things that would make it an all round 5 star experience."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. You feel welcomed from the start, very friendly staff. It is a quiet place for families and retirees, not for party folks. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, it has everything you may need to make your own meals. Which is great when you are on a budget or don't feel like going to a restaurant. We went to one of the local supermarkets and bought everything we needed to make our own meals several times. So, the only few less positive things to say are the limited pool hours, 10:00 to 1800, and limited parking in the area. At times you need to leave your car at the bottom of the hill and walk about 13 mins one way. A parking ticket could cost you 100 euros if you leave your car on a not designated parking spot. Do I recommend it? definitely. Would I come back? Yes. The southern part of the island, in my opinion, offers great beaches, and it is relatively close to many other great sites to visit nearby (bottom half of the island) if you have a rental."
