Ricardo’s place was exactly what I was looking for. I had been traveling around and wanted a place to relax, cook my own food, have good air conditioning and enjoy the beach and town. I also took classes at the nearby language school which was just around the corner. It is a very nice apartment with all the necessities. An easy walk to the beach and town and far enough away from the center that it felt like a good get away. I enjoyed my stay there and when anything came up the staff took care of it right away. Highly recommend!
Appartment was great. Nice to have beach towels, chairs and washer/dryer. Basic kitchen. Comfortable beds. There are stairs up to appartment and stairs to bedrooms.
The building is very old with a small pools. Walk to beach bit more than 5 minutes but close. Road is poor, rough dirt.
Host is excellent at comunacating. Local manger was also excellent and very helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay. Very secure. Place was very clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Just a short walk to the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We appreciate the special accommodations that were made for our family for our stay. It was great to have beach towels, chairs and a cooler to use. Easy walk to town and beach. They were prompt with communication. Beds were comfortable and multiple bathrooms were a perk. There was a problem with ants that definitely need to be addressed. If that was changed we would stay again.
If you’re looking for a place to sleep, this is it. Coffee maker is way too small (not even 2 cups), owner controls AC from a distance; we woke up one night and he had turned it off, it was so hot and muggy. We turned it way down during the day (to still cut humidity and save power), but owner wanted it turned right off. We understood the need to conserve, but turning it off at night while we slept was odd. Check in was hard, coordinating meets at the gate when we had no cell service. Owner did us a solid and gave us partial refund for our last night when we were offered a place to stay closer to the airport.
