"Property and managers were excellent. Very friendly and the nightly camp fire was a great way to share experiences and get info with fellow travellers and the managers. Very clean and comfortable cabin and the town of Telkeetna was great. "

"We stayed one night in the main floor suite on our way to a place by Denali park. Very roomy and comfortable. Beautiful setting with the river just a hundred feet or so from the room. We wished we had spent all 4 of our nights here - the park is about 90 minutes away and an easy drive. Plenty to do around Talkeetna and though pretty rustic the area has plenty of dining options. Front desk closes at 5 so this is not a full service hotel but we thought it was great. Very well maintained. Limited groceries in the area - a small market with liquor, snacks and some groceries. So bring food if you expect to cook your meals."

"We had only a one night stay in Talkeetna. Mike picked us up at the train depot, showed us around town, and because of the circumstances, allowed us a late check out which really made things easy for us. Great place to stay. "
